This site has been established to facilitate your exploration of cultural venues, historical treasures, scenic attractions, and special events happening throughout Connecticut. We hope you find this journey fruitful, and look forward to your feedback! Situated between the major metropolitan areas of New York and Boston, Connecticut enjoys several unique advantages: Its rolling hills and scenic landscape offer a refreshing respite for the city dweller. Its cultural venues attract international talent, yet ticket prices are modest by comparison to those in the "city". We are blessed with an abundance of native artistic and musical talent, as well.

The Constitution State is steeped in American history, and its proud heritage is reflected in the many historical landmarks which have been preserved through the centuries.

You are invited to explore the many links to web sites for venues throughout the state. As of this writing, a substantial percentage have established their own presence on the Internet. However - for those who haven't migrated into cyberspace just yet - you'll find addresses and phone numbers nonetheless. Please, give them a call and request a brochure, subscribe for a season, take a walking tour back through time, or lift a glass of our own vintners' ode to Bacchus and toast the Good Life. You'll be the richer for the experience!
