General Trek This category covers sites that covers all aspects of Star Trek. This usually means an index of some sort like this one. It also includes major archives of Reference info like FAQs.

Classic Trek This category covers sites that covers only original Star Trek , starring William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, and DeForest Kelly, as well as the short-lived animated series. This category also includes pages dedicated to actors and actresses that appeared on it.

Original Series -- episode guides to TOS, aliens, etc.
Animated -- guide to Animated series
Actors and Actresses -- about the crew

Star Trek: The Next Generation This category covers sites that covers the second Star Trek series only, starring Patrick Stewart, Jonathan Frakes, Marina Sirtis, and others. Dedicated sites to actor/actress fan clubs are covered, as well as any new alien species introduced in the series.

Federation and Aliens This category covers sites dedicated to the United Federation of Planets or any of the aliens introduced in the decades of Star Trek. For now, the Klingons have the most sites, period! Followed by Borg, Romulans, and Vulcans. Includes fan clubs.

Interactive and Gaming This category covers Star Trek-related interactivities on the net, as well as various games and toys about Star Trek.

Clubs and Conventions This category includes convention listing and/or info, and general fan clubs on the Internet. Specific ones are listed with respective series and alien races. This includes Starfleet and International Federation of Trekkers (IFT).

Other International -- others clubs OUTSIDE United States

Star Trek Humor This category covers various types of Star Trek humor, such as Star Trek lightbulb jokes (i.e. "How many Klingons does it take to change a light bulb?"), Star Trek parodies and pastiches, etc.

Star Trek Reviews This category includes reviews of Star Trek, includes episode reviews (critical or otherwise), user-rated, and other types.

Star Trek Multimedia This category covers multimedia archives of Star Trek-related material, which includes pictures, sounds, MIDI files, animations, movie clips, and so on. Just a few pictures will not qualify unless they are unique to your site!

International Trek This category usually covers Star Trek pages that do not use English, or has versions of the pages not in English (and thus are usually not located in North America).

Star Trek Merchant Stores that sells Star Trek-related merchandise with a website. They vary from fandom store to general software store.

E-Zines & Writings Sites dedicated to on-line publications that does NOT belong to a specific club goes here, as well as fan fiction archives, self-written stories, and other Star Trek writing-related sites.
