I have included a copy of my professional resume, with some photos of people who have influenced my management philosophy, and a copy of my church-related resume. For my personal mission statement, click here. I originally wrote this as an experiment and it has become something that I update periodically, and find quite useful.

There are also descriptions and photos of my late parents, my wife, our two daughters, and my sister and her family..

Another link leads to the web site of the Episcopal Network for Evangelism (ENE), of which I am the founding convener. The ENE exists to help the Episcopal Church move toward the goal of doubling its membership by the year 2020. This will require a change in culture for many parts of the Church throughout the U.S., and I am enjoying working toward this goal. I hope that this organization, which nine others and I started on October 21, 1998, grows to where it can afford an Executive Director, a position for which I am not a candidate. The ENE web provides resources and it is helping e-mail-using people across the country who have similar interests and/or problems to find each other. An estimated 955 of Episcopalians now have access to e-mail.

There is also a link to my web site on stewardship. I am still developing another web site on evangelism and mission, but it has not yet been formally announced for use. (You can visit it now to see if it has anything of use to you.)

I am providing these three church-related web sites as sources of free, easy-access information for congregations, so that anyone interested can first see the information that I offer, and then second, print it out and/or download it immediately. This avoids the need for the information-seeker to obtain a catalog, and then order something they haven't really seen. I hope that sometime in the future, the national Episcopal Church Center will adopt this philosophy, at which point I will turn this mission over to them.

Still another link is to the web site of the company which a friend and I founded in 1993, Allied Resources Corporation. We have have done work in 31 states and 29 countries, including all continents except Australia and Antarctica. Allied provides contract services in engineering, manufacturing process training, and technical. Allied is in East Hartford, CT. Before a church friend and I started Allied, I was CEO for 16 years of a Navy-oriented engineering company which grew from 56 to over 1500 employees under my leadership.

Until the company was sold in January 2006, I was also on the Board of Directors of Benthos, Inc., a for-profit public company which makes both oceanographic equipment and equipment which tests the integrity of liquids containers (e.g. vegetable cans, beer bottles) as they move down high-speed production lines.

Finally there are links to some self-disclosing talks or articles I have written. These include:

For those who don't know, Glenis and I moved from Willimantic to Glastonbury (CT) in November 1998. Glastonbury is a suburb about 10 miles southeast of Hartford. If you want the new address, e-mail me, and I will e-mail it back.

I hope you enjoy your visit. Click here to send me e-mail.
