Have you ever read a book called "Dying to Live?" It's by Dr. Susan Blackmore. You'll see after reading it--unless you don't want to for emotional reasons--how absolutely full of it you are on the subject of NDEs. I have read it. Excellent book. Like most psychologists she just doesn't understand scientific method and neither do you. --Dr.H The scientific method is the best method we have for learning about our world and the universe. The only Fast than light travel would not work because when the universe start to expand the distance to go from one star to other the distance will be greater.The only thing that works is Wormholes and only though wormholes. I hope you know that you've contradicted yourself several times on this page (first you talk about placebo effects for the spinning superconductors, and then go on talk about powers of the mind - I'm not saying I think gravitational shielding works, I'm saying that I sure as hell don't go anywhere while I'M asleep; Not everyone has an OOBE when they sleep. What in the world are you talking about? UFO's are not controlledby the aliens' minds! The last time I was abducted, I got a tour ofthe Plutonic Wave Emmitters, which simply bend space and time. The aliens use this device to travel large distances. Dear (you name?),funny thing, these few days after a fast review of the book "The Truth" by Joseph Firmage www.the-word-is-truth.com I was going to send him a message as my oppinion regarding aliens and UFOs and my oppinion would follow as: physics and science isn't a way to reach or captivate the extra-terrestrial beings, neither to reach the Universe but spirituality and enlightment, goodness and purity of heart. Is Levitation a spiritual act or scientific one? Both. Spiritual evolution of the entire species is required. Cultural evolution. Mental evolution. Eliminate greed, superstition, violence. This is the answer to Fermi's Paradox. And if it is spiritual what do they do to make themselves more spiritual? Do they Pray? Does God help them? If it is scientific does the bodies components change? Speed up? The electrons moving faster and faster, so that the body is warmer and actually is making it self up differantly than before. I have read that people's bodies, who are more spiritual actually have the chemical makeup of their body (the electrons and neurons) move faster than others.And that people who are not spiritual move slower than others.(The chemical makeup moves slower) (Spiritual being defined as close to God, talking to God and forming a relationship at least in their minds to a higher being)

I am extremely impressed with you broad coverage of "the lightness of being", as I put it I am amazed at all you have put together in one spot. You have included almost every and anything I have ever ponder about. I too have always believed that this is only one sphere, and there are many plans to go through once we pass on this mortal vehicle. I am fascinated yet apprehensive with what is to become of our souls once we pass from this plan to the next. I came, I read, It was fun, made me smile, loved the guestbook comments too, we're all trying...that's great, let's keep it up, I will.Side note: Went to a PK party once setup by a group with a small budget through Darpa and Standford Univ. It had supposedly been replicated more then a dozen time, pretty casual really, but I had only been invited to that one. I sat around the living room with a dozen strangers, all from the area, all nervous and kinda shy. A pile of forks was dropped in the center of the room and we all collected a few pieces. We were told to stroke the forks between our thumb and forefinger and "think warm". Everyone pretty well thought it was ludicrous! One of the observers hosting the party got up and started telling really silly jokes, I mean the type maybe junior high or younger tell, non-sexual, non-violent, just ment to be silly. The way he was telling the jokes though was funny, I'm not sure maybe the inflection or the movement of his face or something...someone started to giggle, another person started to laugh...soon everyone was roaring, it was contageous! People started saying things out loud like."I think my fork is liking this", and other nutty things which fueled the laughter. We all felt the loosening of the socail barriers and the room became very relaxed and people started looking in each others eyes and smiling alot and all that! I was sitting there when all of a sudden the back of my neck kind of felt like it was being tickled. No one was around me! Then I continued to rub the fork, with another fork sitting on the couch next to my leg. The fork started to get really hot. It was just floating very softly between my thumb and my forefinger, no pressure hardly when it just started to get really, hot! I was about to drop it when instead I lifted it up towards my face. I actually watched the tangs twist and bend and fall over. Just like that! I held the fork in my right hand and reached out with my left hand and as I touched the fork it curled around my finger and I wound it softly like a wet spigehetti, or soft playdough! I got really excited and called out what was happening and an observer grabbed a camera and ran over and started shooting pictures. Meanwhile as a number of people looked over to see what was happening, the fork close to my leg, but not touching me, curled, and twisted and the tangs took the form of outstretched fingers! It was all very weird, I started thinking that something bad was happening like the devil or evil and I felt the flow of energy snap close! A couple of days later I did it again in my living room alone, but it took really relaxing, reading a joke book, listening to music. I guess I don't get it. What are you trying to say? Are you a trekkie? Simply because you already have conveniently concluded, all on your own, that UFO'S do exist, you also, therefore conclude that time travel requires vast amounts of energy. In my opinion, you seem to make a lot of conclusions, which only sounds to me as explaining science fiction, with your own science fiction. Interesting. I would like to believe that psychokinesis really exist; but in my whole existence, I have never seen a real case of mind over matter. Always, behind it, is some kind of "treachery". Since all of us are searching for the truth, why would one mislead others like that? _ reminding me of your "essay" on evil. There may be genuine case, but those people would certainly keep it secret for obvious reasons (interpersonal/privacy and governement/military of course). Think you for a very understandable explanation. However, we have just begun to evolve technologically during the last 100 years. This is comparative to a blinking of an eyelid compared to mankinds histyory and evolution on this planet. I have no doubt in my mind that ways will be found to overcome speed of light. Not that Einsteins theory of relativity is wrong, but it is based on certain assumptions. Once we re-direct our thinking, the answer might be simpler than we think. Last November I started corresponding with Dr. Fran DeAquino regarding his theory of gravitational shielding. Having a degree in Nuclear Engineering and an advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Fran's theory caught my attention because: 1. It is derived from an experimentally verified theory of gravity shielding based on thermal radiation, 2. His equations reduce to simpler more familiar and universally accepted equation forms when limit parameters are substituted , 3. The equation units canceled as required yielding correct final units, 4. And last but not least, his equations can be applied to the real world resulting in practical and useful Engineering hardware (space crafts, free energy, zero gravity manufacturing facilities etc.). Last November, I started corresponding with Fran on a daily basis via email in an effort to design a practical experiment to verify his theory (see email archives at http://starshiptechnology.homestead.com/index.html). January 2000 Fran was successful and has since posted the results on the Los Alamos bulletin board (see http://arXiv.org/ftp/gr-qc/papers/0005/0005107.pdf). A detailed explanation of the experiment and some implications can be found at http://members.aol.com/jnaudin509/systemg/html/gravelf.htm. Last month (June 2000) Fran ceased email contact with his normal correspondence group. The last emails received indicated his experiment was "taken away" by people outside his university. I am in contact with a physics professor in Brazil who is trying to find out the details of what happened. So far, I have heard nothing. Interesting correlation's between a practical space craft based on Fran's theory and credible UFO accounts (from P. Hill's book UFOs - A Scientific Analysis) are: A craft shielded from all universe gravitational fields will exhibit zero mass thus obtaining supraliminal speeds (see http://www.cnn.com/2000/TECH/space/07/20/speed.of.light.ap/index.html ). This opens the possibility in interstellar (and even extra-galactic) travel over time spans of hours (or even minutes or less). ELF radiation can saturate automobile and utility pole transformer cores causing engine stalls and brownouts. No permanent damage would result and functionally would return to normal when the field is removed. ELF radiation could interfere with normal brain wave activity causing disorientation and flu like symptoms. A near zero mass craft will fall in air like a leaf or coin in water. Since power applied to the craft is sinusoidal, reduced mass will vary according to the sine wave amplitude resulting in a "jitter" effect. According to Frans inertial mass equivalence definition, negative mass will repel normal (positive) mass. (This is opposite of many predictions from well known physicists. The difference comes from the F=ma equation interpretation. See Fran's posted data showing the mass decreasing or repelling after the zero mass null.). Repelling negative mass will bend tree branches and knock things down upon step function velocity changes (Newton's Law). In addition, the sinusoidal effect will literally "shake" the immediate environment resulting in a buzzing noise with no apparent origin. Negative mass repulsion will ionize air (Nitrogen) molecules resulting in a bluish cold plasma ice cream coned shape. At close range, the ionized radiation will cause superficial 1st degree skin burns. Finally, negative mass repulsion will produce horizontal motion when tilted. Hill talks about this extensively. For those who remember, Hill is the man photographed riding the circa 1950's fan powered platform in military documentaries. Hill indicated most think it was an effort to build a flying sauces when in fact it was an experiment to confirm tilted platforms exhibit horizontal as well as vertical vector components (precursor to the Harrier Jet). Re: Spaceship drive. The exhaust velocity of a Newtonian rocket engine does not have to be anything exceptional to attain high ship velocities. The exhaust velocity relates only to the ship, not to the place it came from. If, for instance, a ship is receding from Earth, at a velocity of 100,000 kph, and the exhaust velocity is only 50,000 kph relative to the ship, it still continues to accelerate the ship. The problem is the lack of unlimited energy, and stuff to throw out the back. Or else it is necessary to find a way of channeling "zero point energy". Interesting. I want to believe you, and I, a psychologist by nature, fear desire as they distort perceptions far more than we commonly acknowledge. Very true. That is why we must be scrupulous about sticking to scientific method. You will notice that I make use of only a tiny portion of UFO sightings, only those of alien craft and aliens standing around, seen at close range, in broad daylight, by multiple witnesses, who remained anonymous. Here we can definitely rule out the usual suspects: Venus, aircraft, experimental aircraft, hoax (actually it is the reproducibility of thousands of such observations that rules out hoax). In other words, unless we can rule out the alternatives to interstellar travelers, it is scientifically worthless. Ditto with Psi phenomena. Look at the last chapter of Ian Stevenson's _20 Cases Suggestive of Reincarnation_. He shows that various features of the 20 cases he presents rule out all known alternatives to reincarnation as the explanation of young children who spontaneously talk about former lives. I HATE games. They are pointless. There is no value in them. I really like your description of sophists and your reason for disliking games... yowww! talk about putting things in perspective. Its not what most would want to hear, but sadly, it is pretty accurate. There is a large gap between reality and what the most conservative sci-fi writers would imagine. Hate to see it so. Couple that with the "Rare Earth" book by Peter Ward and Donald Brownlee, and the likelyhood of our race meeting our cosmic neighbours dwindles to next to nothing. Can a race of intelligent beings ( I am being generous in our case) feel a collective loneliness. Don't think so. Guess thats why we invented religion and god. How many other alien races sit on their planets doing the math? A thousand years from now, when our descendants "do the math" will they be any closer? aaaarghh. Don't believe "Rare Earth." I agree with you 100 percent. I have always felt the connection of nature and myself. I can relate to the illumination you speak of. I believe i had that experience. For an instant i felt the spotlight and understand where you coming from. My experience interested my in readings of metaphysics. I came across Buckes' book of cosmic consciousness and realized that records show no one's illumination under the age of 30 not even Jesus. Iam 19 yrs old, 18 when i connected with that glow. I feel that my glimpse was not complete. It at first introduced me to a taste of bliss, but now after more thought i remain sad. I see all the miseries of this self conscious plane and try to justify it with all of the good that is also here. but evey day being part of this money based society and witnessing all the corruption of peoples inner selves hurts me along with them. In my opinion were still in the dark ages and probably will be for many years past my lifetime. well i'll keep my morals and my hope for a change in others. anyway thanks for listening its not often i get to communicate to someone on the same wavelenght.

Can any of you biowizards explain why I have levitated against my will in my sleep at night repeatedly during the course of my life? Some kind of invisible force would visit me and made me defy gravity. I have no explanation, and no, I don't get little gray aliens or UFO's, and I don't possess any special psychic powers. Bummer, with the wealth of experts out of 6 billion people on earth, no one has a clue, and I have actually lived it all these years. I did a search on the internet and typed in "levitation" and this was one of painfully few websites that came up. While the world theorizes itself into oblivion, I will be probably have to carry this mystery to my grave. Levitation is a power we all use unconsciously during sleep. It provides the force of resistance for the sleep generator, which generates "prana" or mental energy. Your sleep generator is unusual in that it levitates your entire body. Minds are not all the same. Why, we don't know exactly. People who can consciously levitate or apport are just born that way. You are born to levitate when the sleep dynamo is working. Do you move up and down in sync with breathing? Dr.H

Since only one sample per million years has been discovered, it is impossible to catch the intermediate steps. Few creatures fossilize. Even fewer are exposed now. And there are only a few paleontologists. The moon was created by a collision by the Earth with a Mars sized object, having a metallic core. Much of the Earth's mantle was blown into space, most falling back, but some forming the moon. This also gave the Earth-Moon system its angular momentum. Over the Eons, the moon gradually moves further away, and the length of a day increases, as tidal friction causes the loss of angular momentum. This is not a big problem for science. The big problems are the origin of the universe, and the origin of life. However, are these things in any way explained by the poetic mythology of the Bible?

You seem to be working on earthly scientific proof to the ANCIENT SCIENCE OF SOUL TRAVEL. Dear Dr H I came across your webpage while searching for information on apports. As a doctor, I am supposed to evaluate observations on a scientific basis. My own experience of an apport could not be easily explained away because I was very sure of my visual and sensory faculties on the day in question when this happened. Hence I have been researching the subject in my spare time. Some of your ideas are interesting but I am afraid my knowledge of the physical sciences is not as advanced as yours - so I shall keep an open mind on your theories and read up more on those details in physics that you mentioned such as de-broglie waves. As far as I remember he won his Nobel Prize when he was describing these standing waves of the electron around the nucleus - in other words the wave- particle duality - so your thesis is that the mind/brain interaction is thro this mechanism but how would you prove it? But I do submit that in my meditation experiences, the chakras are real as are some of the things you have written on. Count de Broglie was mistaken in thinking he had discovered matter waves. That would not explain the photo-electric effect. Max Born realized it was an information wave, determining what is possible, and the probabilities of each.
However, that has nothing to do with apports, which relate to general relativity. The sleep dynamo, which some yogis can activate consciously, suggests that the mind can effortlessly distort the geodesics of whatever dimensionality of space we live in. A simple distortion in space-time could account for PK, levitation, for instance, but not apports, which require a higher dimensionality, maybe like the nutshell model of Stephen Hawking, which has a fifth space-like dimension uncoiled inside the nutshell. People like Uri Geller, who have done apports, do it without any conscious knowledge of geodesics.

Yes of course its possible you don't think all those stars in the sky are there for decoration? think about what drives us to evolve and grow as a species. as we have progressed and we realised the truth about what the stars are and how far away they are, (i personally belive that the great distances are there to protect us from inter system catastrophe) IT or God or whatever must have realised that the drive to evolve would become more difficult as a species grew in terms of civilisation, so after mythology is replaced by science people would be looking to the stars as (to coin the phrase) the final frontier. so to not make interstellar possible is to restrict a species to the point of pointlessness.

Hello. I do believe that there is something to all UFO sightings, both ancient and recent,and that we are not alone. I believe this because the stories have been told and recounted since the beginning of written history. I believe that most of the religions of the world are based on misunderstood alien visits, sightings and possible abuctions. I feel that,perhaps, there may have been a few "Starchildren" involved in the biblical accounts of miracles and the ones who preformed them. This includes Jesus... While I am no scientist or degreed professional, I have spent most of my 60 years of life thinking, studying, reading, seaching the web,etc. about the issues of UFO's, and government coverups, secret operations, misinformation, and lies associated with them. (has there been any other issue more strongly surpressed world wide, and for so long, as is the UFO issue?) I also study all forms of religion. I am interested in the paranormal. I am especially confused on the Crop circle issue. Yet above all, I try to be objective as I can. I believe in a universal/cosmic conscienceness. I believe that there is a "force" that drives it and we are but one of countless beings throughout the cosmos that are plugged into it. Just as the earth has a very complex eco-system that supports life here, I also feel that the entire universe is one massive uber-system. It generates all the essential things that ALL LIFEFORMS everywhere within its sphere of influence need to exist. What "WE" know to be, is only a mere speck within limitless possiblities. WE are limited to our 3 dimentional rationale. I feel what is known as the ability to think, is in fact a separate enity from the body itself. Mind is one of many cosmic vibrational power sources that is plugged into the cosmic uber machine. We humans are infants suckling at the breast on the great mother of cosmic knowledge. There is the very real possibility that because of our particular earth bound evolution, we may never be able to evolve further that what we are now in the cosmic evolutionary chain of enities. On the cosmic family tree, we may be just another evolutionary dead end link. Perhaps ET knows this and we are nothing but an end note on its' manifest of travels...
