The stairwell (before it was painted and dressed) in one of the many
abandoned hospital buildings that were still standing on Welfare Island
in 1971. This stairwell was used in the shoot-out sequence when Shaft tried
to rescue Bumpy's daughter from her kidnappers for the first time.
