Sean's Accessibility Page

Accessibility has long been a concern of architects and designers of buildings and living or working spaces. It is no less a concern of Internet designers. The primary accessibility problem for the web is that of blind and low vision users. To make a web page easy to read for the screen readers employed by the blind, a few things are necessary to remember. There are organizations that help designers make their pages accessible. If your web page can pass a test, you get to display the Bobby Approved logo -- as we do. Other groups offer additional educational services for the blind.

Of course, Internet resources are available for other handicapped users as well. We will build on these pages a list of links and other aides for those wishing to solve particular accessibility problems -- or simply looking for support from others with the same problem.
