Pawnee Oklahoma is the first town on the east end of the Stillwater district. This is all that is left of the depot at Pawnee. The passenger waiting room(s) was (were) removed many years ago. If anyone knows of a full length intact photo of this depot the author would like to hear from you.

The Frisco depot is long gone but the Santa Fe depot still stands just west of state highway 18.

Pawnee was also a part of the Frisco Lines. The infamous Avard sub runs through town and at one time crossed the Stillwater district just west of town. In recent years the Santa Fe's main track through town has become a siding for the Avard sub. The crossing was removed when this track configuration was developed.

East of town the Frisco line crossed the Second District at Camp. This formed a very interesting triangluar configuration of lines with Pawnee in the center. Easu Junction, the beginning of the Stillwater District, was at the apex of this triangle. It was approximately seven miles east and one mile north of Pawnee and still featured nearly three miles of Absolute Block Territory as late as 1953. The first signal was located by the never-used coal shute at Skedee. The second signal was located at the beginning of a mile long passing siding which was also the begining of the Esau Jct. Wye. The Doodlebugs that ran to Stillwater took this passing siding. The next signal was at the end of the passing siding. The last signal was a fixed signal that was advance protection for the Camp Frisco crossing.

Camp itself was never a town but in later years following the abandonment the Newkirk to Ralston segment of the Second distirict a switch was installed which allowed the Santa Fe access to the orphaned portion of the Second district via Frisco trackage rights.
