Built by the Canadian Valley & Western Railway Company-Inc. and inactive as of September 20, 1904 the name of this railroad was changed to the Oklahoma Central Railroad on September 27, 1905. This line was later to become a part of the Santa Fe railroad. I believe that this occured on July 31, 1914. The line was abandoned by the Santa Fe on February 9, 1942. This line ran through the lowlands of the South Canadian river valley and eventually extended all the way to Lehigh, OK east of Ada I believe.
