El Dorado district trains had no timetable superiority between Florence Jct. and Augusta. they were governed by the 2nd district timetable schedules.
Train speeds on the El Dorado District were 50 for passenger trains and 40 for Freight trains, except 40 for passenger and 30 for freight between Burns and Florence eastbound.
I talked with Lloyd Stagner about the El Dorado district there also. He told me that it had been abandoned in November 1942 at the request of the government. The rail was needed to be relaid into military bases.
