The track arraingment at Mulvane can best be described as confusing. For a good explaination and additional photo of the depot check out Joe McMillian's Wheat Lines and Super Freights page 147.

The depot in Mulvane is a typical county seat depot built after 1910 with one exception. It does not have an open waiting room. In other respects this is a basic 1910 "standard" county seat depot. Today it is a community museum. In fact some crafty metalworker parodayed the name "M U L V A N E" by spelling "M U S E U M" on the streetside of the depot.
