Joseph Rice (b. 1751-68, d. 24 Apr 1829, W Claremont NH) Lived at least for a time in Weathersfield VT. Was apparently not in Claremont at the time of the 1790 census.

---------- Danford Rice (b. 02 Dec 1805, Claremont NH; m. Caroline Jones (b. 15 Oct 1811, d. 01 Oct 1866), d. 04 Aug 1877, W Claremont NH) Was member of Trinity Episcopal vestry in the 1860s. Son William Danford Rice was a lieutenant in the Union Army, and died from battle wounds 30 Sept 1864 at Poplar Grove VA.
