K I S S "Keep It Simple, Stupid"

I was introduced to the Acronym KISS in the 1980's when I started to learn about computers. At the time it was a reminder to programmers NOT TO CREATE BLOATED CODE, I.e. keep the design simple.

Aside from being a computer hobbiest, other interests are my companion hounds, classic cars and trucks, amateur photography, and travel. Some of my photographs listed on the left column of this page contain elements of those interests. The first couple of pictures are of my hounds, supposedly one of the oldest-known breeds of dog, a Saluki. The hypertext link on the next page describes this dogs ancient history, answers FAQ's, lists reference books, the Saluki Club of America and the American Kennel Club.

The second two pictures are of the architectural skyline of Chicago, Illinois. Next is a picture of the Auburn 2000 Classic Car Auction and Show held every Labor Day weekend in Auburn, IN. The race car on the auction block was the one Tom Cruise drove in the movie Days of Thunder. The next pictures are a friends 1970 MGB and my 1955 Chevrolet pickup truck. The last two pictures are the St. Joseph river and a beautiful stone fortress the Studebaker Mansion, both located in South Bend, Indiana. Enjoy!
