The Presidential Service Association
Since 1964, with the enactment of Presidential Executive Order 11174, over 18,000
U.S. Armed Services Members/Veterans have received the Presidential Service Badge/Certificate for honorable service in the White House. From the young Marine Corporal serving as a Crew Chief aboard Marine One to the Company Grade Officer serving in the Executive
Office of the President, and anywhere in between, these men and women have demonstrated a sustained
performance of a superlative nature. Members of the Armed Forces have served the Presidency of this Nation proudly since its founding days.
The Presidential Service Association is a non-profit organization created to provide a network, to construct a history of service, demonstrate the traditions and pride of that service , and furnish scholarships, grants, or crisis funds for U.S. Armed Services Personnel/Veterans who served in the White House prior to or, after the creation of the White House Service Certificate, Presidential Service Badge/Certificate, of Vice Presidential Service Certificate/Badge.
General Colin Powell, USA(Ret) former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff during the Gulf War, The Honorable Charles Robb, U.S. Senator from Virginia, and Admiral Charles R. Larson, Superintendent, U.S. Naval Academy--all recent members, are some of the more famous recipients of the Presidential Service Badge.
