Carlos Castillo
Writer-Director-Producer
Carlos worked as a newspaper
journalist after earning a bachelor's degree in journalism from California State
University, Fresno, in 1987. He moved to San Francisco in 1991 to study film at
San Francisco State University and City College of San Francisco. He worked as
a production assistant on Interview with the Vampire for Geffen
Pictures in 1993. His screenplay Hidden Parts was a finalist in
the student competition at the 1994 Austin Heart of Film Festival. It also was
a finalist in the 1993 Hispanic Film Project, sponsored by the Hispanic Media
Coalition and Universal Studios.
Roger Amrhein
Producer
Roger sold oil well drilling
bits and copier parts after earning a bachelor's degree in marketing from
California State University, Fresno. During this time he occasionally worked as
a movie extra and developed an interest in putting his business skills to work
in the film arena. He moved to San Francisco in 1993 and supplemented his film
knowledge by reading books, attending classes at City College of San Francisco,
Film Arts Foundation and the Bay Area Video Coalition, as well as assisting

Thomas Chandler
Director of Photography
Thomas
started in still photography and eventually made the transition into motion
pictures as an assistant camera and gaffer in features, commercials, and music
videos. Recent experience as a director of photography includes: feature film Land
of Milk and Honey (2nd unit); short features God's Warrior
(Performance Specialties Productions), and The Pick (Stephen
Rogers); a video documentary, Amazon Rainforest (Chess); a
commercial, United Way Day of Caring (Harambe); and a USA Channel
video pilot, Missing Children (Four Point).
