More Than You Ever Wanted
to Know about Paul Wenz

Compendium of Religion, Computers, Homebrewing & Photography...

You'd think with all the work that went into my Web page, I was a Web page designer (or a homebrewer). One long lost friend from high school who stumbled upon my page wrote me and said, "You! A pastor?!" Well, I'm sorry to disappoint, but, Yes I am a pastor. And it is the greatest job in the world. What a great job--sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with people for a living.

But actually, my calling and hobbies fit so well into a web page that I could probably earn money doing all of them. I should start hiring myself out as a web designer or maybe sell some of my beer. And even though it may seem that I spend a lot of time in front of the computer or brewing beer, I also go to the Church office to type a few sermons once in a while ;-).

When I lived in South Dakota, the Winter months (often weeks below zero, Fahrenheit) were ideal for brewing. I used one room in the basment as a "Lagersregel" (that's German for a beer storage room), which stayed at 60 degrees in the summer and 45 in the Winter. However, now that I live in California, I don't have the same space to brew and store my beer. I'll have to resort to a seperate refridgerator for fermenting and storing my brew. I has taken me some time to get back to my hobbie after having moved to California the summer of 2001, but don't worry, new Brew recipes will appear soon!
So feel free to waste your time checking out my Web Page frequently for updates!
