"This Is My SWAB"

THIS IS MY SWAB. There are many like it, but this one is mine.  My swab is my best friend.  It is my life.  I must master it as I master my life.

My swab, without me is useless.  Without my swab, I am useless.  I must  swab my deck true.  I must swab cleaner than my enemy who is trying to kill me.  I must swab my deck before he shoots me.  I will....

My swab and myself know that what counts in this war is not the filth we clean, the noise of our splashing water, nor the  mess we make.  We know that it is the sparkles that count.

We will sparkle...

My swab is human, even as I, because it is my life.  Thus I will learn it as a brother.  I will learn its weakness, its strength, its strands, its handle, its texture, and its absorbtion.  I will ever guard it against the ravages of jarheads and officers.  I will keep my swab clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready.  We will become part of each other.  We will...

Before God I swear this creed.  My swab and myself are the janitors of my country.  We are the room service of our enemy. We are the saviors of my liberty in Hawaii.

So be it, until there is no enemy, but Mop and Glow!
