Well, Rebel Assualt II is here. Not much cause for rejoicing I'm afraid. It's starts out okay, you get to go through a level of a Star Destroyer looking at it from a mousebot's photoreceptors (eyes). But this is only the intro, it's not interactive.
The interactive parts are quite bad. You fly or walk on a pre-determined path. To make it worse, these parts are near impossible to complete for the average gamer that doesn't want to have to break his joystick after a few days of game play. One thing does shine, however, when you are playing the game, and it has nothing to do with gameplay itself. The music in Rebel Assualt II is just as good as in the movies, and they even use some straight from the movies. This about the only thing good in the entire game.
After each msssion completed you get to watch a cutscene with live actors placed on fake backgrounds. The actors are pretty bad, but they are wearing uniforms taken from the movies. Overall, I just recommend you watch the Star Wars trilogy again instead of buying this game. You'd get more for your money.
