This formulae is presented by "U.S. Pharmacist" in the May 1991 issue. For a more complete discussion please refer to information found there. Cyclosporin is a useful medication in treating diseases of the eye which may have an autoimmune component.

Cyclosporin Ophthalmic Drops

Cyclosporin Solution 100mg/ml
0.2ml (20mg)
2mls (200mgs)
Castor Oil
0.8mls

Method Of Preparation:

Measure 2mls of the Cyclosporin Solution and 8mls of the castor oil and mix the two thoroughly. Filter the mixture through a 0.2micron sterilel filter and put into a dry empty sterile ophthalmic bottle for dispensing. The frequency of application ranges from once every hour to once daily.
