Biographies:
Sean Hoskins : This junior on the ski team has been a skier since
fourth grade. He has improved consistantly throughout his three years on
the team. Through strong coaching from T.V.O Sean has learned to love the
sport and has moved from sixteenth place as a freshman to fifth and third
in the state championships this year. Sean is reluctant to buy into the
market craze of "snazzy" new skis and powers his classic strides
with 1980 Silver 44's.
Mike White : Mike, a senior co-captain and the last of the long line
of White boys, is finishing up his fourth year on the team. He has learned
many lessons from being on the team, from both other team members and the
coach Tim VanOrden. Mike is known for his remarkable knack for racking up
rookie points and is currently in the lead for the '96 season. Mike has
been very happy with his high school results esspecially the races that
really count. Mike is also a firm believer in the LaRoche motto - "These
races(regular season) don't really count."
Dan Goossen : Born, raised, and resides in Bennington, Vt, Dan knows
his way around town like the back of a map. Also, he is on the ski team
and skis during the winter. Dan is one of the founding members of the "Futt-Mart."
Dan is also a great typist, due primarily to the great teachings of Mrs.
Kathy Perrott. Dan, the main camera-person for the 1996 cross-country state
meet, has been fired from his position due to lack of stability. He also
has eaten many an orange and is quite proud of the this trait along with
his belching abilities. In case you haven't noticed, he also isn't very
good at thinking of things to writeeeeeeeeee.
Jared Randall : A founding member of the "Futt-Mart" discount
scent center, Jared is a special addition to the ski team. In his 3 years
on the ski team, he has finally achieved a last minute entrance into the
rookie point competition this year, and has also maintained seriously tasteless
remarks throughout the season with the asistance of a Mr. Ben Cichanowski.
