Team History
Mount Anthony Union High School Located in Bennington, Vermont has been
host to many successful sports teams over the years.
One of those success stories belongs to the Cross Country Ski Team.
Gifted with one of the highest annual snowfalls in the east, Prospect Mtn.
in nearby Woodford, Vermont has been an integral part of the Patriot skier's
success.
The Patriot girl's skiers were Vermont Division I State Champions in 1988,
1990 and 1992.
The Patriot boy's skiers were Vermont Division I State Champions in 1991,
1992, 1993, 1994 and 1995.
The twin victories for the boys and girls in 1992 was a Vermont high school
skiing first. Never before had a Vermont cross-country skiing championships
been won by boys and girls teams from the same school.
