Welcome to the Robin Cousins Page. This site covers the various careers of figure skating's Renaissance man. From an Olympic gold medal and numerous professional championships to his own and other ice shows and TV specials, the West End musical stage, choreography, directing, TV commentary, art exhibits, and movies, Robin Cousins can say "been there, done that."

Robin Cousins is judging the new Dancing on Ice series on ITV and on tour in 2008

Robin Cousins was once again the head judge for the third season of Dancing on Ice on ITV, and he will also be repeating those duties on the Dancing on Ice tour of the UK in 2008. In the ITV series, celebrities learn to skate and team up with professional skaters to compete live on national TV. Torvill and Dean are also involved, both training the teams and skating themselves every telecast.

Robin did commentary on Worlds for the BBC

Robin did BBC commentary and also finally had his induction ceremony into the World Figure Skating Hall of Fame (a couple years late) at Worlds. The BBC posted an interview with Robin with some of his predictions for Worlds.

Robin did a drawing for charity for National Doodle Day, and has an earlier drawing in their book

Robin drew a doodle for National Doodle Day that, along with other celebrity doodles for charity, was auctioned on Ebay. You can see Robin's 2008 artwork on the National Doodle Day website, and a drawing that he did for the charity two years ago is in their just-published collection of previous doodles, currently for sale on eBay.

New interviews, photos, and a calendar with Robin Cousins

The January 2008 issue of iSKATE Magazine has an interview with Robin, and iSKATE also has published a 2008 calendar that includes Robin. There is also a BBC interview with Robin, an interview with the Worthing Herald, and an interview with Latest Homes Sussex.

Robin also opened a number of temporary rinks in the UK in December, and there is coverage in The Bolton News, the Blackpool Citizen, the Wirral Globe , the Chester Standard, and This Is Hampshire.

Robin donated a sketch to the eBay auction to benefit the Dorset Wildlife Trust

Robin donated a drawing of a butterfly to the ebay auction fundraiser of the Dorset Wildlife Trust charity, which raises funds for wildlife and biodiversity in Dorset, England.

Robin Cousins is creating and directing the new 2007 Holiday on Ice show

Robin is creating and directing the new Holiday on Ice show, Spirit, which premiered in Germany this fall. Karen Kresge choreographed the show, with Mark Naylor as assistant choreographer.

Doodle for the Dart extremely successful auction fundraiser

Robin donated a doodle of a dart (dragonfly) to the ebay auction fundraiser of the Devon Wildlife Trust charity, which raises funds for wildlife and biodiversity in Devon. Robin's doodle sold for a higher price than those drawn by John Cleese, Michael Palin, Annie Lennox, Derek Jacobi, and Diana Rigg, among many others.
