XTML will allow you to maintain your tables in Microsoft Excel, then quickly and easily produce the HTML code required to publish the data on the web. The formatting from the Excel worksheet is preserved.

Below is an example of a range of cells in Excel (gif file) followed by the HTML table generated using XTML. If you use your browser to "view source", you can see the HTML code which was generated (I made no modifications after XTML produced the code).

Here is a partial screen shot of a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet:

Note that the "Pct" columns are calculations, and the first header rows are formatted with Excel's "center across columns" alignment. Some of the cells are centered, and some are in bold font.


Now, here is the resulting HTML table generated with XTML (using the default preferences):
