Remedies for High Blood Pressure
Please be sure to check with your healthcare provider prior to using any of these remedies. Make sure your blood pressure is checked regularly.
Preventing High Blood Pressure:
- Exercise is the best prevention for high blood pressure. Try to exercise regularly throughout your pregnancy.
- Avoid caffeine, spicy foods and nicotine.
Remedies for High Blood Pressure:
- Do visualizations affirming to yourself that your blood pressure is normal. You may also use deep relaxation to increase the power of visualization.
- Eat garlic, parsley and onions; eating them raw has the best effect. You can also use garlic oil capsules, 2-10 daily depending on the severity of your hypertension.
- Eat cucumbers. Drink a half cup of the juice or an entire fresh, raw cucumber daily.
- You can use the juice of half a lemon or lime plus two teaspoons of cream of tartar in a half cup of water taken once a day for three days. You may repeat once after a rest of two days.
- Use 2-4 capsules daily or 15 drops tincture three times daily of Passionflower. You may need to use this for several weeks before seeing results.
- Use one or two cups daily of Skullcap infusion. The tincture is not as effective in contolling high blood pressure.
