Humble Beginnings

The humans I live with have told me this story...so you can't necessarily trust all the facts...

I am told that I arrived here on this planet on April 8th in your year 1982. I was born in an alley on the north side of Chicago. Abandoned by my mother, my three siblings and I were taken in by a quilt shop owner. It was here that I began to take charge and exhibit what humans keep referring to as SNIT attitude. (When you KNOW you're better than everyone else, it's not snitty to say so.)

In June of 1982, the people I chose to live with came to pick me up. These people seemed awfully strange, but they did provide regular feedings. BC II (my sister) and I were taken to live in Lombard, a suburb to the west of Chicago.

My first night there was a hard one for me. It turned out that I was filled with worms and had to be taken to the all-night emergency pet hospital. I kept saying, "Screw the Veterinarian...let's go to McDonald's for a snack." The stupid humans I lived with, though, had not yet learned to interpret my language. There was no filet'o fish that night.

I've come a long way since then. ROO Enterprises now spans the globe and is dedicated to the proposition that all cats are not created equal. When you want the best -- ask for Roo Quality. (Sure it costs more...a lot more...but I'm worth it.)
