[The Sethworks Mooseum]

Q:  What's all this about?

A:  Ah.  Question number one on the list of top ten questions.  <Grin>  The Sethworks Mooseum is a creative outgrowth of the Sethworks Mailing List, which in turn, is the creative outgrowth from an interest in the writings of Seth/Jane Roberts/Robert Butts as expressed by the members of that mailing list.  Check out the links that I've provided for you in the first section above for more information on Seth/Jane Roberts/Robert Butts.

Q:  Who is Seth and who is Jane Roberts?

A:  Hmmmm...  Had trouble with the links above, did we?  Ok, save this page and try them later.  That happens sometimes.  For now, I'll tell you that Seth is a non-corporal (in this reality) entity who, through a "psychological bridge" with author Jane Roberts and the assistance of her husband Robert Butts, wrote several good books in the 1970's and 1980's. Seth Speaks and The Nature of Personal Reality are a couple of them.

Q:  What's discussed on the Sethworks mailing list?

A:  Joann had earlier answered another newcomer's post with a question like this pretty well:
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Mostly we spend a lot of time kicking around concepts as presented by Seth, via Jane Roberts.
The most basic premise of this is that you create your own reality based on your own set of beliefs. Using this knowledge as a tool allows us to see that we have created our lives and can recreate any aspect of our life that no longer serves us by examining our beliefs.
There is much, much more to it of course, but this is the beginning.

Q:  How long has this list been in operation?

A:  Several years now. More detailed information about the list and its history is at the following WWW URL:  http://access.digex.net/~toma/sethworks/sethworks.html

Q:  What is the general attitude of the people who subscribe to this list?

A:  Pretty good, I'd say. I've been on the list since May. Flames seldom happen here.

Q:  What are they looking for on SETHWORKS?

A:  Oh, other folks of similar thinking, I guess. Somebody else to share personal experiences with. Here's some other Web Pages you can check out to deepen your understanding of this particular group's common interests:

Q:  So what's this "Moose" business all about?

A:  Outstanding.  I thought you'd never ask.  <Grin>  That's what this little group of pages is really all about.  In 1995, Anna V. put together a file of collected comments from the list in anticipation of just such a question. The original Mooseum File, centerpiece and inspiration for all of the Sethworks Mooseum web pages you see here, answers this question very well.  Therefore, please CHICK HERE to get to Anna's file and continue reading.
