The Sethworks Mooseum Annex Wing

[Sethworks - Black Sheep Logo]Greetings!  And welcome to The Sethworks Mooseum Annex Wing!  This page is an extension to The Sethworks Mooseum Web Page.  It turned out that, after the construction of the Sethworks Mooseum, there remained additional works which the Sethworks list subscribers felt should also be shared with all visitors to the Mooseum who were interested enough to "graze" here.  Additional exhibits will be put on display in this area in the future.  There is no guided tour through this portion of the Mooseum.  Please feel free to stroll around and take in the exhibits at your own pace.

The following directory may assist your browsing through the exhibit descriptions in the event that you are looking for something in particular. Just click on any item in this list to jump to that point in this document. Once there, click on the item title to go to that exhibit.

  • Kristy Gottschall's Photos of the Summer "Lake Do" of '96

The Summer of '96 has seen lots of Moose Meets inspired through the Sethworks Mailing List on both the East and West Coasts of the US. These photos were taken by Kristy Gottschall when she hosted a mid-August get-together of Mooses. Some comments from the list on this particular "Do" indicates that it was quite a bit of fun for all who attended.

Alfredo has set up a web page to coordinate and document Moose Meets for the Sethworks list. There, he plans to display more photos that Kristy took of the East Coast Castle Rock Meet which Bill Ingle hosted earlier in the summer. Click here to check out Alfredo's Sethworks Page.

Vjim and Joann also took pictures of the Castle Rock "Do," and they presently have the photos up at their own web site. Click here to go there. From all reports, a good time was had by all at this Moose Meet, too.

    Review of the Seth Video

"The only video available of Seth speaking through Jane. First part of the tape is an interview with Jane (Roberts) and Rob (Butts), second part is footage of an ESP class with Seth speaking to the class. 59 minutes. Produced by Kendall & Delisle Books, Inc."
Thus reads part of the advertisement found in a recent issue of Reality Change, Seth Network International's magazine for Mooses like us. But what is this tape really like? Is it any good? In this exhibit, our own Philip Stephens gives us a much more detailed description in his review which appeared on the list and sparked off a thread of its own.

    The Ahh-HAA Concept

Which one of Seth's Concepts was the one that really made that old light bulb above your head turn on bright? You know, the one that made you say "AH-HA! I get it!" Janet asked this of the group and got back a good collection of responses which she put together and sent in to be put on display as this exhibit. Have one of your own? Send it in!

    The Illustrated Time Paradox Theory

Seth, through Jane Roberts, has explained to us that time doesn't really exist. That, in fact, events which appear to us to transpire in the past, present and future are really all occuring simultaneously in a single, ever-present "Now." Yet, if you come to work late, your boss might not think so. So, does time exist or doesn't it?

One of our more noteworthy Sethworks list members, Forrest Landry, has recently proposed his theory which explains this apparent paradox. Another one of our members, Gerhard Fuchs, decided to formulate some graphic illustrations as an aid to his own understanding of Forrest's theory. Gerhard authored a web page with these illustrations and put it up at his site in Austria to share with all of us.

But, alas, Gerhard is moving on to other stages of his life and has unsubscribed from the Sethworks mailing list. Additionally, he plans to discontinue his web site. When he asked to have the links to his web pages removed from the Mooseum, your humble Curator requested, and was granted, permission to display his web page work here in the Mooseum Annex.

Here, then, is the page of illustrations that Gerhard had placed in his "Doors" web site to explain his understanding of Forrest's theory.

A Flag for the Sethworks Entity?

Recently the subject of flags came up on the list.  Anna V. noted that our Sethworks "entity" doesn't have one at the moment.  In response to that, Vjim suggested that we make one.  Joann promptly created a flag she felt might be suitable and offered to send it to anyone interested.  Next, Beti asked if it could be put on display in the Mooseum so everyone could check it out; and before I knew it, it was in my mailbox.  Well... Why not?

In fact, the Mooseum is a device for the Sethworks list members to share with each other as well as the rest of the world.  Therefore, this new Mooseum Annex exhibit will be dedicated to suggested "flags" to represent our group.  If any of our other Sethworks list members have a creative inspiration similar to Joann's or John Walshe's, the work can also be placed on display here for inspection by the mailing list members.  This will facilitate future discussion on the list and eventually lead to a consensus decision on our "official" Sethworks banner.

Australian Mirror Site for the Sethworks Mooseum

NEW!  For those high Web traffic times, Ralf Muhlberger and your Mooseum curator are proud to announce the Mooseum is now also located at: http://www.dstc.edu.au/DDU/staff/ralf/seth/mooseum/mooseum.html  (please note page is no longer active - JNT 9/9/2001)

Bookmark this one as an alternative, especially if you happen to be closer to Australia than the USA!

(please note that the Australian mirror link in this archive site is no longer active - JNT 9/9/2001)

    Healer, Heal Thyself

Ok, if Jane Roberts channeled such great advice from Seth, why did she get sick and die? Why wouldn't she have created another reality; one where she stayed with us longer? How about Edgar Cayce? See the Sethworks subscribers work with these knotty issues in this selected string of great list posts. The most recent posts in this collection are a well researched essay by Frank Webster posted on March 29, 1996 and another extremely good post by Samantha Riordan on September 25, 1996.

    A Sethworks Newsgroup?

You say you've just subscribed to Sethworks?  You've suddenly been bombarded with volumes of mail the likes of which you'd never dreamed of having to handle, and you haven't learned how to go to Digest mode yet?  Has the thought "I could handle this better if it were a newsgroup instead of a mailing list." ever crossed your mind?  Have you ever wondered if anyone else on the list has thought of this idea?  This exhibition of a list post by your humble curator is dedicated to any inquiring mind who wants to know.  It's a recap of our October 1995 Sethworks discussion.

ATI Inc. announces openings available in Project Humanity

The Great Coordination Point Expedition #1

This Moose group of posts initiated by Bill Ingle is a really great example of how much fun the Sethworks subscribers have in experimenting with Seth's Concepts.  The Mooseum comments on being "pithy" relate heavily here.  Be sure to follow all the hypertext jumps to parallel sub-threads.

    The EGS Standard

EGS stands for Extended Grammatical Structuring.  This standards definition documentation by Forrest Landry is a perfect example of creating one's own reality by innovatively shaping the tools for working with it.  In Forrest's case, he wanted an information handling and analysis capibility in written form which would allow him to (amoung other things) more clearly express and cross-reference extremely complex and multi-level/multi-dimensional ideas (such as some of the concepts that Seth, Jane Roberts and Robert Butts have given us).  Forrest felt that, in his reality (quite possibly yours and mine, too), conventional writing in the English language did not give him the required capability; so he designed this tool as an extension to it.

In generating some more technical discussions concerning the nature of reality, Forrest has shared the EGS Standard with the subscribers of the Sethworks mailing list.  Now, with his permission, the Sethworks Mooseum Annex shares it with the rest of the world.  Please observe that all rights of authorship and copyright for this piece remain with Forrest Landry.
