I'm so Goth, I'm Dead.

Greetings and welcome to my Lair.

My name is Jynxx and I bid you, let your curiosity be your guide and enter of your own free will. So, I like Lydia Lunch...got a problem with that?

First, let me tell you that I am a  Gemini and born in the year of the Snake.  Generally I prefer the company of felines to that of most mortals. Currently, two felines in particular choose to share their lives with me: a Seal-point Siamese named Elric and an Egyptian Mau called Akasha.

I am a dancer, model, performance artist, and writer of various topics ranging from film analysis to erotica. Before I continue, let me say that if it isn’t kinky, I’m not interested. I include among these kinky activities a high level of BDSM and bloodletting. If you are more curious now then before, feel free to email me and I will be happy to discuss any issue you wish.

In addition to these sensual and cerebral activities, I also enjoy a varietyof swordplay. I especially enjoy the style of rapier fighting of the 16th and 17th centuries (yes, like in the “Three Musketeers”). I also am studying some Eastern forms of Martial arts, including Tai Chi.

I know it's tempting, but if you try to look up my skirt, I might have to kill you.Favorite Bands
Siouxie Sioux (with both theBanshees and the Creatures); Bauhaus & Peter Murphy; Type O Negative; Sisters of Mercy; Kevorkian Death Cycle; Leather Strip; David Bowie; Adam Ant; Portishead; Switchblade Symphony; Dead Can Dance; Cruxshadows;  Gary Numan; Danny Elfman/Oingo Boingo; NIN; Peter Gabriel; Jethro Tull; most 80’s stuff, some 60’s stuff. I have rather eclectic taste in music (I can appreciate everything from classical to punk), so these are just a few of my favorites.

Favorite Movies
I am a film buff and hence like a variety of movies for various reasons, althoughI tend to prefer horror/sci-fi/cyberpunk and historical films. For example: Videodrome (an all time fav.);  A Clockwork Orange (another all time fav.); TheWall; The Fly (the remake); An American Werewolf in London; Logan’s Run; Naked Lunch (or anything with Julian Sands in it); Brazil; To Sleep With a Vampire (the BEST vampire movie I’ve ever seen!!!); The Crow (and anything else with Brandon Lee); the Planet of the Apes series of movies (and anything with CharltonHeston in a post-apocalyptic setting, i.e.Soylent Green, OmegaMan, etc.); Anguish (a really weird & hard to find movie). Speaking of hard to find movies, has anyone but me seen Kingdom of theSpiders? (the spiders win and William Shatner gets screwed). IngmarBergman’s The Seventh Seal; The Name of the RosePeek-A-Boo.(best sex scene I’ve seen in a flick, esp. since it was with Christian Slater and some unknown cute girl); Island of  Dr.Moreau (both versions are pretty good, but the original with Michael York is better). And speaking of Michael York, he was FINE as D’Artagnan in both the Three and FourMusketeers. Speaking of Musketeers, I loved Man in the Iron Mask (despite that Dicaprio person). Usually the costuming and the fight choreographyof such historical-type films make me drool shamelessly. There are few things sexier than people in 17th century clothes fighting each other with nice shiny, sharp swords…

…and these are just a few of my favorite things…

I also love cats, bats, blood, spiders, wine (I’m learning to become a winesnob…giggle), rain, Bettie Page, &.pretty goth boys who wear eyeliner.

I hate stupid people, especially the ones who have no tolerance for anyone different from themselves…which, unfortunately includes most Western, organized religions.

Speaking of religion…I consider myself to be, (for lack of better terms), a Zen Buddhist Witch.ahhh, I love the smell of decomposing lillies in the evening

Since this is my  Gothic page, I feel I should say a few words about being a Goth. Being called a Goth is really just another way to pigeonhole an individual. For me, being Gothic is a way of life, (much like my religion). It involves not only how I dress, (I have dressed in bright orange and still been the most Gothic person in the room), but a mode of thinking, and appreciationof certain types of literature, architecture, clothing (and the accessories), etc., etc. Expect further discussion of the philosophy of the Gothic life-style in the future. Also, as stated previously, if anyone would like to discuss these issues with me, please feel free to e-mail me as you wish.

There are a couple of ways to contact me online, you can e-mail me, or if you can find me on AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) under the nickname, Jynxx333, I might just deign to speak with you, of course I might not.

Oh, and if you were interested, yes, all of these photos were taken at the same time, however, they will be changing periodically.

And here are some links that I find amusing or entertaining in one way or another, so perhaps you will as well. They, like the photos, will be updated periodically.
