James P. Williams founded INTELLIQUEST in March 1990 in Anchorage, Alaska.

Its purpose was then, and still is, to provide investigation and security services to businesses, attorneys, and the private sector.

In November 1993, Mr. Williams relocated to Tucson, Arizona to open an office in the southwestern United States.

In August 1995 INTELLIQUEST of Arizona was incorporated as Desert Mecca, Inc. d.b.a. INTELLIQUEST Investigations and James Williams became President and Director of Investigations.

In January 1997 Jeffrey R. Lockwood joined the agency and provided much needed assistance in the areas of surveillance and criminal defense. Mr. Lockwood was promoted to Vice President in July of 1999 and placed in charge of the Civil Division. Mr. Williams took over as the Director of the Business Services Division and continues to work jointly with Mr. Lockwood in the Criminal Division.

Coupled with this experience are INTELLIQUEST's research tools which include direct linkup with nation-wide and world-wide computer databases, and a key base of developed business and legal contacts on local, state, and national levels.
