If We Even Did Anything

"If We Even Did Anything" is a short story written in hypertext.  As such, it's a metafictional narrative that breaks the story frame as you progress from part to part.  Portions of the story offer you a choice.  Portions direct you to move to the next section.  I've provided a running table of contents in the far left frame should you wish to explore parts of the story on your own or subvert my design and read in a linear path.
