The Starship Commander's Tactical Battle Simulator allows you to command a starship or a small group of starships in a combat situation.
This description may sound similar to other games you have seen, but there really
are no other shareware games of this type that are as advanced as this one. The
game has a higher than average degree of complexity, yet most people can begin
playing the game immediately, before they even read the manual.
The battle simulator features many ship types. Here are the schematics for a few
of them.
The National Federation is both the largest and the oldest of the four existing
empires. The home planet of the National Federation is Earth. The National
Federation has the largest and most advanced military of the four empires.
The Barbarizard Empire is made up of a barbaric warier race of lizard like beings
out to destroy or enslave all other races of intelligent beings. The Barbarizard
military is the second largest, and fastest growing. It is generally considered
to be the most powerful in the universe due to the ferocious nature of its personnel.
The Andromedan Empire is made up of humans who declared independence from Earth
over 100 years ago. The Andromedans are closely aligned with the National Federation
in the current war.
The Vikonian Empire is the smallest of the four empires. The Vikonians are
predators who believe the strong should take from the weak. The Vikonians
make frequent raids on National Federation and Andromedan planets, bases and ships.
The National Federation and Andromedan Empire have made control of the Vikonian
menace a high priority.
