Dann Huff and Giant

Giant has released four albums (counting the Live album)

Keith Lambert, in Scotland, sent me some neat information on the Live Giant album. He caught their gig in Birmingham (UK) 1993. Here's some of what he writes:

"Concerning the LIVE album, I suppose you would call it an EP. It's a Japanese release on the 'All Fired Up' label (a division of A&M I think). The Cat No is PCCY-10145 and it is entitled 'It Takes Two + Giant Live!'. It has four edits from "Last Of The Runaways": plus the following:

The live tracks are from Global Satellite Network's live broadcast on 4/20/90
The album came with extensive liner notes (in Japanese though!) and a free silver Giant sticker.
On meeting the band, I can honestly say that I've never met a nicer bunch of guys. Considering there were technical problems and they didn't come on stage until after midnight they were very receptive to the people who wanted to meet them afterwards. We even got to partake of some after show food!

I'm just sorry that Giant didn't get the recognition they deserved. LOTR as a debut album was simply incredible. Some of the solos Dann came up with for those two albums were out of this world."
