This February and March we will be offering our annual National
Dental Health Month promotional in an effort to encourage those pets that need
it to have their teeth cleaned! Your pets can get their dental prophylaxes and
any associated dental work performed at a discount of 20%. This is a great time
to take care of this often-underestimated part of your pet's health care. Clean
and healthy teeth and gums can help your pet live a longer and happier life by
preventing premature tooth loss and/or infection. It can also prevent some forms
of heart disease, liver disease and kidney disease associated with advanced dental
disease and infection. And most of all, you'll like your pet's breath again!

We recently have added several new staff members. Dr. Becky
Talcott has recently joined us and will be working alongside Dr. Schoenborn
on Wednesdays. She enjoys working with reptiles as well as pocket pets in
addition to dogs and cats. Lisa Stinnett, RVT, has joined us full-time as our Lead
Technician. She replaces Valerie Johnson, RVT, who has returned to school full-time.
Lisa comes to us from a sister NPC hospital in the Bay area, and also has a
strong background in reptile medicine. Melinda Sarte is a third year veterinary
student at UC Davis, and has also joined us part-time. Join us in welcoming
them to Greenhaven.

Our parent company, National Pet Care Centers, has been
committed to helping us continue to grow our practice. We have recently
acquired an ultrasound unit that will allow us to provide additional
non-invasive diagnostics onsite for your pets. Dr. Reed will continue
to see cardiac referrals on an as needed basis. Thank you again for your
continued confidence and referrals, which continue to keep our practice
strong.
All our best wishes for a safe and happy 2002!
