Life. Struggle? Nah! That is nothing!! That is why it is a constant struggle for NOTHING. You want to know why I put that in? I have no idea. It just sounded good. What do you think?
NOTE: This is just an essay about some thoughts of mine thatgrow rampant. Ideas and concepts nothing else. You can agree or disagree and it would make no difference. This is just my opinions about things.
OK, maybe I had another reason. When I thought about what this will be about, then I thought of the best title about myself. About myself? This book is about My Philosophy. I started writing a book called "That is the way Life goes." At first this idea was a song idea, but then I started writing and writing and writing. I got more and more into things. I will be putting either excerpts from it or having some chapters into this. "Cause This Is Myyyy Philosophy – WORD." (Casual Note: WORD in this language is a slang term in Rap music that means something like: true or I agree or of course.) If you want to know, that is the refrain of one of my favorite songs that I created. "My Philosophy." It is a song that has, naturally, my philosophy of life – in a VERY general sense.
"My Philosophy" actually has quite a history. I first wrote it to help myself through a hard time with my ex-girlfriend and her two brothers. This was the start of a song that I wanted to keep. This song though, was so subjective that not too many people liked it. So I created different lyrics. I also enhanced it and made it little faster. Now this song is more a hit for some and I REALLY love it now. It makes more sense than the first, even though the first will always make me think of my ex and her brothers.

So without further adieu, let me get on going with MY Philosophy!!! Word!!!!
Inspiration is a part of my life. I have sought for truthful things, and all I have gotten are inspirations. I wanted to look for the good and the bad parts of life, so that my opinions, thoughts, ideas, political stance, and religious stance is the ultimate and that I would be the role model for the perfect human being. I really meant the most Imperfect human being. I know I am quite imperfect, but I have gotten at least some inspiration on certain things that I guess you could say: "Things that make you go….hmm." It is not that I have found the truth or anything, I just know that things have different sides to truth and that is why we make so much speculations on things that go around us.
What I mean about this, is that we speculate on politics, religion, people on trial, TV/Movies, music, and many other things that seem to not have any "real" answers. This is the stuff that makes controversy and many other things that make one person get ticked off by another person.
In this book, hopefully I can inspire or enlighten you about what I think about things. I have been known to be able to look at things in various ways when others are only able to see one way. What I mean is this. In politics, what are you affiliated with? Are you a Republican, Democrat, Independent, Unified, National, what? Do you often go by all these terms? Some will, some do, some are totally against it. If you say you are a Republican, do you have all the same wants as all Republicans? Did not think so. I actually consider myself none of the above, out in between, and no where in sight. I may have a few ideas that are similar to Republican to a Democrat, to a Socialist, and possibly to a Communist. Now you are thinking, did I read right? Communist? Yep. I will not say that of course, but there are a few good things in being Communist. There is unity, there is a place for BIG families, and if you are a big brat like me – you will be served. Of course, if I was in Moscow when Communism was really big, I will not be able to go to McDonalds on a lunch break – it would have to be a weekend. You know, incredibly long line – definitely NOT fast food.
Or how about religion? Are you a Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, Taoist, or Satanist? Well, I will not say I am a Satanist because I am not, but I do believe there is a devil and GOD and GOD Rules OK!! But I do have some belief in Buddhism and Taoism. They are from the Orient and are more "humanistic." I will have to say I am very humanistic on most accounts because I believe humans have the power to do a whole lot. I do believe in God, but I do not really read the Bible. I believe that God is this omnipotent being and is able to hide from us or show his caring. Even if he shows his caring, we may not know if it is from God or not. I have read "Embraced By the Light" by Betty J Eadie, and I will have to say that she describes pretty much what I think of God and religion as a whole. It is mainly about information and that information will be our strength and power, alongside love and understanding.
Next comes something that has given me a lot of inspiration for a few years. I have been heavily reading about the art of the Ninja. This art is very unique and just involves some philosophical insights and strategies in general. All my information has come from two sources that are the only sources that I care about because they are from the Grandmaster – the one and the only Master of the Ninja, and the first American to become a Shidoshi teacher of the Ninja Stephen K. Hayes. The enlightenment that I have received from just reading the books are just a few ways to look at life. One of the concepts is about two different Mandalas known for the two different ways of looking at things. One is from a subjective view, the individual. The other is an Objective view, looking from the outside. This is important to think about the differences in thinking. Another view is how one can influence another (for good naturally). This influence is to avoid any control or manipulation of self and others. The way of invisibility can be used physically and psychologically. This basically means two things. One, physically hide from others by use of camouflage and other means. Second, psychologically hide by knowing how to look as if you are just part of the view and have no importance that one forgets you are there. There seems to also be a spiritual way of invisibility, which uses energies of earth to mystically hide you. If there is such an ability, it would be hard to do.
I also have gotten inspiration from various musical artists such as Young M.C., Michael and Janet Jackson, Jesus Jones, 2Unlimited, and many others. By creating some of my own music, I have gathered inspiration by just thinking of good song titles and how I would like to present my albums. Letting My Walls Down, UnPreDicTabLe, Freedom are the three albums that I have and will be working on. I am currently working on Freedom which the concepts of this album is based on 4 different ways of dealing with life, liberty, happiness, and just about anything else. UnPreDicTabLe is an album that strove for "Riding In Harmony." This song was based on a concept of being able to see harmony while being a part of the harmony. The harmony is to me the musical term of a chord structure. The chord structure could be 2 keys or up to 20 keys depending on what is presented. To me life is a lot like several keys pounding on a piano or keyboard or any other musical instrument. Each key makes its own noise and together with other keys that are different noises creates a harmony, and creates a musical chord that sets tone, pitch, and the primary key. Put this in life, you can say that a key is an idea or opinion (general opinion) and that having several general opinions that are different can create a harmonic tone that describes the whole event that the opinions (keys) are made out of. There are at many different tones. Some happy, sad, augmented, demented, and other types (as in Fmin7, Amajor6, etc.). Being able to part of it and seeing the harmony that you are a part of, is something most people have a hard time seeing. It is not that people cannot see it, it is the fact that we cannot see it 24 hours by 7 days a week for 52 weeks for all the years of our lives. Riding In Harmony is only a concept of how to see yourself with others and usually it is time related. What I mean is that time is always a part of it. You do not stay in the same kind of harmony in time. It always changes, even if many types of harmonies are repeated. Things can change for the briefest moment to the longest full note.
Doesn't this society (western civilization) love Rationality? I mean it is so... real. What I mean about that is that reality to many people is to be rational, and to be rational is to only know and obey things that seem sound or able to be proven and used easily. It is hard for many to let go of these things. Are you comfortable of letting go of those rational ideas you have of life? For some, it is a total shock and total fear. For some others, it is something that sounds too good to be true. For some others, it sounds nifty.
Rationality is something that we can use on this earth for a means of making sure that things are proven correct and that people can find the answers and not look further. Of course, there is the fact(s) that there are somethings that cannot be proven correct or wrong, and it takes the rest of their own lives to try to find out what is correct. The question remains, who does look for the unanswerable? There have been many philosophers that have tried, but they always seemed to come with an answer that may have some disagreements. Most philosophies that I know, are not able to put everything into it. So the question remains, Why look for the unanswerable? How should I know (Unaswerable question inserted here)? To me we try to find things because it can be rewarding. From what I have seen, people feel good about themselves and others for having "answers" to certain questions. These "answers" is really just information that we come up with, and has something to do with our lives. It might have something to do with you or not, but it is information. This information is important to some people, depending on what the interests of the person are. If any information on Star Trek, or One Life To Live, I strive to find anything out. It is my interest, also I want to find out about how to do my job better and how to deal better with people. All this is just information.
Many times people get caught up with what society wants them to do, that they cannot think beyond that. What I mean is, that people get caught up doing the laundry, that they forget or not aware of that they might have hurt someone (through mental manipulation and mental destruction by complaining or being too negative) that same day. It is hard for some people to realize it and see it, because it is not important to them, and because it is not important, they do not use their own personal energy to solve it or apologize or give good kind words to another person. Somehow people expect things like responsibilities like doing the laundry, and I sometimes wonder why people take so much time doing that instead of thinking about what happened at work or at school. What I am talking about is that do people think of themselves, do they look at the Man In the Mirror, or do they just do their work with an apathetic attitude? You know, are you the one that gives the finger when you are really steamed? Or are you the one, that gets the finger? Does it affect you, when someone does? Or when you catch yourself doing it? For some people rationality are things that you hear on the news, or what you seem to see everyday, and that people keep that kind of bad attitude toward somethings because of these certain things. For an example, you watch the news every evening, and see all the crime that happens in your city. Because the news brings up constantly of crime, you start thinking and feeling like if you go out somewhere, you will get mugged, shot, killed, have your building at work get bombed (with you maybe in it), and have your car get stolen. And because the crimes are done by teenage black or hispanic males, you tend to stay away from any black, hispanic teenage male you come across.
Now I know that I am kicking rationality in the butt real hard, but rationality is good for a lot of things. You can keep aware of what you have experienced, and will use experience and all the facts that you can get, and be able to formulate your own hypothesis. In other words, that one uses their experiences and uses all the information they have and remember and then gain a certain feeling, good or bad, about a person or thing. Yet, this is only the beginning. The second part, is Idealism. Yes, this chapter is about Rationality vs. Idealism, but people always put them apart and not together. Idealism is that "trekkie" that looks at Star Trek and sees the conceptual story of a certain episode. It is that thought that not everything you see and hear are what they really are. Idealism is also dreaming for a better reality, either the whole world or just himself or herself. It is that want to see what should happen, or what could happen. Rationality sees only what does happen at that moment or in the past. Idealism is looking into the present and the future. How about putting it all together?
Rationality creates the hypothesis of what you experienced, and what information you have at hand. It gives you the ability to create a theory of things that in ones own opinion will ultimately happen and nothing else because all the information and experiences that you have tells you that. Yet what happens when the theory is wrong? Can you be creative and find a new way of doing it? Or will you stay doing your things because that is the way you do them? Rationality will many times be that there is not much creativity. It does not mean that rationality is not creative, but there is usually a limited way of thinking. This limitation is only when there is nothing to see or have experienced yet, (Comics or Video games perhaps to parents? hint to my parents) or think that they know exactly what is going on at all times. Idealism can see the limited thinking, but usually idealistic people may not see what is in front of their noses. Putting them together does at least make that theory a suggestion and not a correct answer.
What is wrong with Idealism? If a person is too ideal, they always like to dream of certain things. Idealism puts up more that just a new way of thinking of things, but there is nothing really to support the ideals of a person. These ideals are ways to change what is out there now. Idealism also can be seeing either the actual truth, or it can be just another delusion because you thought that stuff that rationality comes up with is a delusion. There are people that feel that their ideas are the real thing, while the stuff that is around now are the fake stuff. With rationality, they do not seem fakish, yet there are things that seem to go "beyond" rationality that maybe only idealism can only create. Yet idealists many times just seem to not able to accept anything that is based on rationality, because it does sometimes seem like you can see through their delusions. There have been plenty of things that I have thought I can see through, and yet It was just things I wanted to see. Idealists may see things that are not there period. If you think something is fake, or you think you can see right through someone, are you sure that what you see is a delusion that you do see through? Or is it a delusion that you created from your own ideas? (Another Ninja trait) That is why I want to put them together, is because I think that rationality has a lot of good points, they bring out at least part of the truth. In other words, that the news only shows the arrests of blacks and hispanics, when there are also many white men, and women doing other crimes. Yet these crimes did happen, and that black man did have cocaine with him, and that he was high on it. Idealism has its good points, because they probably can see through the news and say that they may only show the blacks and hispanics doing those crimes. Yet they may not care that this certain black man was on cocaine. People who go just by rationality might say that he should go to jail until he dies, or have the death penalty on this man. Idealists may see that this black man is just another victim of society and that he should go into rehab and he will be a fine black man after that. Putting these things together, you can see that if this black man cannot be helped with rehab, or that he was in rehab two times, then maybe rehab is not right for now, and that jail or death penalty could be best observed. People today still see the two as two separate things, when they could be used as one.
Risks and choices, life’s good pleasures right? Sure I have a choice to do things that I want, but that is always with a risk. My friend, Jason, and I have talked about the risks of just getting in the car and driving it just a mile. Pretty risky actually. What if you do not have a safety belt? Sure it is a choice. Yet, if something happens, ouch. Of course, there is that scenario that your car gets stuck on the railroad tracks and the train is coming head on, and because you are wearing a safety belt, you can't get out fast enough to save yourself. Sounds more like a movie scene though right? Or how about just a car that goes through the red light and is about to hit you. If you are strapped in, you stay right there. If you are not, you might be able to move to the other side (That is if you are aware and are very fast). Ok, enough doomsday scenarios for now....
We all have choices to do certain things. Should abortion be a choice? You want to know what I think? I think that it should be a choice, but I do feel that some people are making the wrong choices. I would choose life most of the time, because it is a life that a man and a woman created. Certain things that would choose for abortion, would be if the child will have AIDS, extremely deformed, have too many kids that you have no money for the first kid, or a danger to the mother. We all have our thoughts on the subject, but I think we can all agree that a child's life is an important one.
Choices can create a lot of risk. Do you take amphetimines in order to study long hours the night before a major exam? The risk is that one becomes dependent on the drug. Not to mention, how will one handle the depression afterwards? Do you want to depend on a drug that you cannot control exactly what happens, or do you take things with more control? It's your choice, if you care to accept it... this disk will self-destruct in 5 seconds (oops, a little Mission Impossible humor here).... As humans, we can make a lot of different choices on what to do. Many different choices can make a lot of or less of a risk(s). The thing is, is risk good? See Appendix A for more details on risks.
Risks are good in a way. Depends on the size of the risk, but having a moderate risk situation might be the best. How does one learn, if there are no risks? How does one learn to drive, if driving is a risk? Hey, there's another contradiction and paradox (Isn't life great or what? [what])? To become a good driver, or be good in anything, one has to make mistakes and do things the wrong way in order to know exactly the right way. (It is that Zen and Ninja thing again) Of course, how much risk is another good question. (I have a ton of questions, gives you a hint doesn't it?) The certain amount of risks depend on how one can cope with the consequences. I have not done much risky things, because I feel that I cannot handle a lot of the consequences.
Well, what should I do? Maybe I should go bungy jumping. Cool. Hey let's go bungy jumping without the bungy? Maybe not. Again, can I handle going down without a bungy or a rope or a net? Splat. No-way-jose. Ok, I am going waaaaay toooooo faaaaar again. When risks are more life threatening and the possibility of death or being severely injured is extremely high, we should not do certain things. This is not just your death or being injured, it is others. (That darn gone responsibility again) All I can say is to see what the risks are and see if you can handle the risk. It may seem that you can at first, but if you try it, feel the consequences....
I am taking the risk of making this chapter short... (maybe it is an easy topic?)
Two of the questions that have come up are: Are people of authority just there to give you a hard time and no freedom? Or are people of authority there to help you out and have a responsibility to you? Another way to put it: Are you a Rebel? Or are you a Servant? These two words, "Rebel" and "Servant" are strong words to use about these two different views of authority. Why is it that way? D’uh, how should I know? No really, there are also differences in seeing what authorities are really there for. Part of it could be that there are certain things that we feel are ok to do, but parents, police, or the government are always trying to make sure you do not do it. Are they really doing it to "destroy" our freedom? Or are they doing it because they have certain "responsibility" over what we can and cannot do?
Is freedom good? Yep. But it can also be bad. If I am free to do whatever I want to do, then why don’t I TP (Toilet Paper for those who don’t know) your house? I am free to, right? So your house will be TPed and you will be somewhat steamed. Or how about I just slash your tires on your best car? Is some freedom better then? Yes. But how do you define some freedom? Is freedom good until you cross the line on someone else’s freedom? Hey, we are getting somewhere! In Appendix A, there is a section about freedom to do things, and yet we have to see if we destroy someone else’s freedom. Of course we can always discuss the power of guns, or the destruction that guns can make. (Another controversial topic, so just stay with me, I am trying to go everywhere on this one) My opinion on guns, is that it is good to have to hunt wild animals like deer and elk for finding hard to find food. (Like delicacies and for gourmets) Otherwise, guns should only be used by the police. The only problem about this concept is that the criminals have guns too. Oops, there goes my good argument down the drain. So I guess I should have a gun with me. So when I get mad at someone, or get too stressed out at someone, (hope it is not you!) I might use the gun to release that pressure. Hmmm, I guess if anyone has a gun, they carry a very BIG responsibility (there’s that word again). People who carry guns for protection, should only use it for protection. If you get attacked by a gang or parts of a gang, then maybe so. If you get attacked by soliciting salesman (or saleswoman), hmm maybe not. The thing is, if they also have a gun, who will shoot first? Who has the bigger gun? I guess I am going to have to carry a bazooka. Ok, I am going waaaaaaay toooooooo faaaaar. It seems that it might be a good idea, but if you are protecting yourself from someone else having a gun. The thing that could help is either the other is not a good shot, or you got lots of luck. Do you want to get into that kind of thing? Having a gun can also be threatening. I guess that is why we can conceal our guns now. If you get mugged or something, I guess it would be better to get mugged rather than get killed, right? If you have a gun, could that change things? Maybe, if they do not have a gun too. If both parties had guns, the chances of survival is somewhat slim, depending on how many others there are and if they have guns too. Done with the gun issue...
Authorities have a lot of responsibilities (here I go again). They have to make sure that everyone that they have a responsibility to, that they are getting what they need and want, without getting anyone else hurt. They also have the power to make the people that they are responsible to, have a real bad time. (Is it getting hot in here?) Do authorities use their power to benefit them? At least some do. I find some authority figures like parents, police, government officials may have to at times. If you live with your parents, then do you repay them for the damages? What I mean is that do you pay them rent, pay for the utilities that you use, or pay for the food that you eat from the fridge? (If you are 16 or over) There are expectations from them to go by, but there are always easy compromises. (Hint for Jason) Police officers are a little different, especially the ones on the traffic beat. You know, the ones that have the radar on you and catch you when you are going only 2 miles over the speed limit. Oops, should not say that. I know that we need police to check on when people speed. We have a speed limit for these reasons:
1. Driver safety
2. Car handling
3. lastly and most important, Pedestrian safety.
The reasons are pretty good reasons. Certain areas are best at certain speeds. Other areas might have other suggestions. Many police officers supposedly have a quota. they have to make a certain amount in a day. If they don’t, then maybe you could be speeding by much and get caught. This is the bad effect of traffic duty. This is something they have to do. (Again, hint for Jason)
The government is a big and complex problem. The government is there to make laws. The police are there to enforce them. Why does it take so long to make and vote on Amendments? (For all those political people it is called filibuster: the art of killing a bill by talking about nonsense all day) They only give the people one day to vote. They can vote any day, any year for a bill. I know I am making the government look bad, they have high expectations from so many different places and people:
1. The voters
2. The interest groups
3. Their party
4. The President
5. The taxpayers (that is us)
6. The other party
7. The rest of the nation
8. Other Countries
9. Third World Countries
I probably could name so much more, but they are expected to do so much and yet have little time to do it and it seems best to lie your way through in order to keep the job. Boy am I glad I am not a politician. Since there are so many, how can anyone get everything straight? Then there are the factions, the parties. They basically want the same thing, but want a different way to do it (That darn gone rationality limitation again). Still want to be a politician? Sure you can change people’s lives and hopefully make it better, but what if it all goes wrong? What if you can’t get other people to help you with the vote? Clinton tried to do things right, but all that happened was that he tried too hard and too fast. Too fast for other politicians to agree or make a few changes to the plans. Trying to help the people is the real idea, but it takes awhile and have very flexible plan(s) to make others agree. Other politicians try to make things better, but then the other party tries to get rid of it because their names and their party did not help in making it.
Parents and police officers are trying to help us. Our parents will help us with any problems that come our way. We may not like the way they say it, or the way they want it, but at least they are trying to help. Even having curfews is a good idea, or at least let them know where you are and when you will be home, especially if the parents care enough about when you are home. Police officers are there to help for most things, although it is hard for them to be there when you really need them, and they are sometimes there when you don’t. (like when you drink and drive or when you do drugs. Oops, wrong idea) Mostly having police officers are good. They are here to enforce the laws that is supposed to protect you. But I should not forget that police officers can also be control freaks and be irresponsible. The only problem about this, is knowing who is responsible and who is not. That goes with everyone.
Let us not forget religious authorities. They are usually trying to help, but some are only helping because they fear God, or they want you to fear God. A lot of TV evangelists are always giving bible verses in metaphors to solve todays problems that are not quite metaphoric (the bible is quite metaphorical anyway). Actually many pastors and ministers will do the same thing. The question is, is that what God wants us to think (in old roman metaphors), or do we think of the current situation? We should in a way take both. It is hard for us to know, but we all have a few similar morals that should be our basic guide. Thy shall not kill. Thy shall not steal and lie. Thy shall love thy neighbor as thy love thyself. Most of us similar morals even if we do not believe in God. Some believe in Buddha or Confucianism. Yet all of them have some kind of moral responsibilities. No matter what religion that I have encountered (religion for good, not for satanic) I have found that they have similar morals but a different process to carry out those responsibilities. How come human religions like Buddhism can have the same morals has the high and mighty Christian morals? Maybe humans can be moralistic without the concept of God? (Oh boy, I am going to get a call from Pat Robertson any day now!) The last question then remains. Which is better to believe in? In my opinion, we need to believe in both. Yet, some will be stronger than others. We cannot forget the power of the earth just because God is more powerful. And we cannot forget God, just because God does not physically show himself to us on earth. Moral of this story is: Should we fear God because we are human, or do we make the most of our human abilities on this earth? From what you just read, it should be both. (A thought that is hard to argue against: is the thought that if we are on this earth and we are told that we have to be with God, (and God is in heaven) then how come we are down here? How come we are not with God in heaven, if we are supposed to be with God? We are here in life for life. All those similar morals are human traits to watch out for. We are here in life not for God, but for us.)
The art of the Ninja, is best described in books by Stephen K. Hayes. Several books were created by this Master of Ninja. In a past written Essay, I had written down some important concepts from these books. Plus some of my own thought on why I put them on. I credit Mr. Stephen K. Hayes in the italized below.

The samurai (The society today) was guided by external considerations. The method of form used to accomplish something often became more important that the final outcome itself. This philosophy dictated that the way one appears is the only reality, and that one concentrates on the details of speech and action in order to develop the mind and spirit. If one appears foolish, one IS foolish. If one appears weak, one IS weak. If one appears to be an immoral coward, then one IS an immoral coward. This tradition of yo manliness is reflected today in the training of many of the contemporary oriental martial arts. .... The ninja observed no social structure or priorities, and, except for belonging to a loosely formed clan, possessed no family name or history in the community whatsoever. Guided by their mystical philosophies (Tao, Zen, Buddhism, Mikkyo, Shugendo) of the balancing of the in and yo interaction among the elements of nature, the ninja acknowledged no absolute concept of justice, fairness, or morality, (as the society knows it) and held in their hearts the knowledge that the vast universe would continue to unfold with the beauty of impersonal totality that knows no right or wrong.
My Thoughts to this...
The act of no morality or fairness, is because we cause our own foolishness to react to our own needs and do not see the needs of the others. It also basically says that we (humans) have a limited scope of what things are and have made humanistic things that would help us cope with life in our narrowed view.
These things could be,
Language, Law, Math, Science, Religion (more on that later), History, the Arts, etc.
Language and math are based on systems that we have created so that we could use it for applications. If I really wanted to, I would make 2 =1 and 1=3 and 3=2. So that would mean that 2+2=3. That may sound wacko to you, but what about other languages that have different numbers, Greek has an Alphabet of Alpha, Beta, gamma, Omega, etc, Yet to us (English) it is A, B, C, D. So knowledge in this could be knowledge in only human things. NOT the Ultimate knowledge.
Religion plays a good part, because many of them may represent only a fraction of what life is. In Christianity, we look for God, Jesus, Mary, Moses, etc. These are good figures to relate and there seems to be plenty of history. Yet, we are also not too sure if it was God giving us words to write the Bible, or if it was based on humans. A better problem to relate is the ability to interpret the Bible in a negative fashion and in the fashion of right and wrong. Totally right, Totally wrong. Many religious people will automatically tell you, you are a sinner, a sinner, a sinner. That sounds pretty bad Ouch! Shouldn't we ask God why he put this stuff in the Bible? Why Ten Commandments? Does this go for actions, not thoughts?? These questions may have been once in your mind, but really people do not ask because they already know it!!
Of course you could take proverbs 12:15 and say that one who says he knows, is a fool. If we really should be Christians then, we should think about what we are doing and what will happen if we do what we do. We may think of ourselves and not others in the process, and the Ten Commandments (For example) lets us know to look at consequences of others too. To me, if God really did do most or all the Bible, then I think that the Bible was done so that we can have order in our society. So that we would not have to hurt others, and so that we can take some advice to. God might have put somethings there to scare us from being gay, or from being a prostitute, or to be scared of committing suicide. Maybe God just wanted some kind of order for us to go by, a way to make our lives go in some direction rather than many different directions, (rationality??) and that someday we will evolve our minds and spirit to think beyond that to see why it was written the way it was and to not feel that if one does not do what the Bible says, then one should not think that it is totally wrong. An example is that when someone sins, I might think that "well, I don't think I need to say anything because I do not know what's God's Judgment really is so I just say, let God decide." I am saying this because we were given choices if we wanted to sin or not. If we sin, we could be doing the wrong things like if we do adultery, then we may get AIDS or any veneral disease. So sins may or may not take us to hell. It is hard to tell if that is what God really wanted us to feel about sins, if we should think of it as just breaking Gods advices, or if it is actually breaking the laws of the Universe and the consequence is going to hell. I guess we will find out when we die.
Other religions are like that. They seem to be more mystical or cultistic. They contain powers that seem to be "beyond" reality (Or is it?) Ninja's Philosophy says that there are no two realms (Material and Spiritual)and are not extremes but one within the other. (Has anyone seen a ghost??) Buddhism has a list of commandments, and if you compare it to the Ten Commandments, you can see that there are many similarities to them. (Weird right??) Zen and other religions like it, concentrate more on humans and energies surrounding humans, rather than thinking always of doing God's good faith.
You are not locked in that body of yours.
Your mind can soar and join other minds.
Do not be afraid to explore, the dynamic potentiality of all things in the universe.
Quest ever on, To know, feel, and be all that you possibly can.
Become a part of the ethereal, and look down upon the earth as it plays its part in the cosmos,
Tap the knowledge of the heavens, to see the scheme of impersonal totality.
and become a part of the mind and eyes of God.
Basically that could mean that if we could always have out of body experiences then we could probably see what life and the universe seems to be about. (NOT)
This could mean that we take all knowledge FACT or Intuition and put it together and you can make yourself not just invincible but also having the mind and eyes of GOD. (In the view of us puny humans)
Men are helpless, only when they see themselves as helpless.
The present is our only opportunity for power.
The passage of time controls, and bends all things, only when we believe the passage of time.
The future lived is merely yet another NOW.
Take a look how time represents itself, it is always NOW. The past was NOW, the future is going to be another NOW.

Gee, think about that, I could be telling you the truth of all mankind, and yet, is it really the truth??? That is life.

A noble ideal indeed, but one not yet practical, nor safe, in the unfolding saga of humankind.
This to me sets off a lot of different thoughts.
First, We, as humans, feel that there should be more love and acceptance, like the Bible has told us. Many of us dream that that could happen, right? Well, when you look at it it does seem like a great thing for us. Yet, Life will not be interesting, life will not be hard, life will not be UniQue. The thing is, we cannot have people that are just like you or just like me. This could cause a social upheaval, especially now with our society becoming dependent on socialization.
Second, Why should we worry if this person accepts and loves you, when we should worry if a person is planning for revenge, or to hurt us, or to steal something from us, or to kill us? It is hard for many of us to NOT hate something or someone. For example, in music, many people have some kind of hate for a particular music. This is many times because it does not sound like the type of music that they are used to, or it is not the type of sound that they would like to hear. It is with people to. Some people are silent, some complain all the time, others tell their life story, others tell about female or male things, female - Men, make-up, hair, taking care of house, children, etc. Male - Women, cars, fishing, politics, etc. These things are what is within us, and most of us will not let go of this.
In the art of the Ninja, they have a few things that they try to detach (or get rid) themselves from some weaker sides to their way of life.
The "Name" represents who you are right now, it is also the historical account with your life without any reasons why you became who you are. To detach yourself from the "Name", you have to give up personal limitations and weaknesses. This goes for things like fear of heights, fear of spiders, etc. This also goes for if you have a physical ailment like asthma. In other words they should not be excuses for certain things in your life.
The "elements" is the influencing factors in your life. It is your friends, relatives , the cause and effect relationship that makes who you are today and will be tomorrow. To get detached from the "elements" you have to give up all natural habits and unthinking responses that may not be appropriate for the situation at hand, preconceived judgements and opinions that limit your actions or thoughts to other possibilities. This is to rid of your outgrown concepts in life that we cling on to.
The "Void" is the power to influence your own life. To detach yourself from this, means to get rid of actions and attempts and plans and interactions to only one realm, mechanical or mechanical principles. This can mean that some things just cannot fit your experiences totally and that there is always something new to experience. This "void" is so that you can direct and balance your views and destiny, your personal direction in life, with the greater working of the cosmic scheme of totality. (in other words the unlimited power to know what you want and need to do with your life.) There is also a bad end to this, you can hopelessly battle through your days in the cycles and seasons of life (in other words, be influenced by your surroundings trying to get out of certain phases) or you can try to seek mysteries of things like ghosts and celestial friends to help you get out of the cycles of life. (In other words hoping for salvation).
These are the things that we should see for ourselves, COMPLAIN to ourselves, to see and realize what we need to improve.
It is an exhilarating discovery, to realize that your soul's heart,
is the most knowledgeable priest that you can find.
This can be said about what "Enlightenment" could be about. It is the way to experience anything, everything, and nothing about something. It is when you are totally engrossed into something that you do not discover the need for what is around you at the time. It is total concentration at what is at hand,
Those aspiring to enlightenment, are advised to hold in their hearts, the reassuring truth that, the inside of the universe is vast enough,
to contain comfortably, all the paradoxes;
all the pieces of the puzzle, that we have not yet touched.
Sounds like Enlightenment to me.

Could desires mean to get some materialistic thing like cars, movies, comics??
Could desires mean that girl that I wanted cannot be mine??
Could desires mean how I want you to look at the dance?
Could desires mean that I want to eat rather than diet?
Could desires mean how I look at a person, for who they are,
or for who I want to see them as.....
This man I think he does not like me, so I just go ahead and not listen to him or speak to him.
This woman I love, I stay with her, talk to her try to have fun with her,
He actually likes who I am, and likes to talk to me about my interests.
She is a real jerk, complains about how I smell, and how I bother her.
OUCH!!
Well, ok. To what the Grandmaster of the Ninja says that desires are the inappropriateness of emotions of us that can create illusions and delusions about what is really there. Jealousy, Hatred, Lust, Laziness, Sympathy, Fear, Anger, and Vanity. These factors are controlling our reality of who a person is or isn't. These desires limit our frame of references to people and things around us. We must get rid of all the programs that society, our parents, our friends, and our enemies give us, because it can be the ultimate lesson to be able to know what is really cold, and what is really hot.
The best procedure, to drop desires, is to openly and honestly examine those things we think we want, and those things we think we wish to avoid. Many times, the mind tries to protect the "observer" in us, the zen driver in us all, from the truth. We learn to hide our true feelings beneath a cover that we feel is more acceptable to others and to our own sense of ourselves. We may want to become teachers and priests, not really for the good we can do, but because we are seeking a feeling of importance or superiority over others. We may desire nice clothes and luxurious living quarters, not for the comfort they bring, but for the fact that they make us look attractive to others. We may seek corporate or political power, not for the obvious awards, but to make for feelings of personal inferiority. In knowing himself, the ninja can come to an honest appraisal of his weaknesses and those areas where he is vulnerable. From there he must find ways of strengthening the potential trouble areas.
This seems very negative and strongly against what we may feel, but unfortunately, this may actually be true. We do want to be certain things, maybe to help others and all that, but personally when we look at it, it may be different. When I was 8, I wanted to be a Doctor, and I wanted to help people. At that time, I had a more sense to do that because I was very innocent compared to some of the other kids around me. I think after a while, the thought occurred that in a way I do want to heal people, but I saw that there are some benefits and some ugliness in the job. The years that I would go just to learn how to help someone. The feeling of my stomach when I watch an operation, the thought of malpractice. Nope, this job was not for me. I think that I was more true to myself, because no one really "taught" me how to lie. Now you may ask what does this have to do with desires. Well, that most people desire to be a doctor because they can tell people what to do, they tell people that they want to be called Dr. instead of Mr or Mrs. OOOOOH real important to be called Dr. When I look at it, maybe I really wanted to so that I can have control over a situation and helping people is like controlling people. This is what I think of it now, before when I was younger I did not think of the "importance" of Dr. It also goes to show, that a child is more innocent and also more pure than an adult. At church, I would not go if my friends were not there, or if I could not sing in the choir. I really did not know what church was really for, when I was younger. Now that I do know what church is for, I wonder how boring it is that every 20th Sunday of the church year we try to repent, etc. Every year we are going to celebrate the same things in church. Yes, I think we should think more about God, not for what he thinks of us when we sin, but how we can improve ourselves by making choices that not just benefit us, but benefit everyone else. Today, I am beginning to see my potential and my weaknesses. I think about what people do, the bad things, and I sometimes see a lot of those concepts relate to me. The only problem that I face, is how do I CHANGE?? There are not many teachers out there that can see all sides of the 1,000 sided die, and help me see what I can do. Only a few have been able to let me see some of those sides. You would gain a lot of potential if YOU can see your weaknesses the way I am beginning to see mine.
Relationships can mislead. Letting other do things like run a company or a church, can bring down your own objectives and destroy your job and career.
A warrior is one who seeks knowledge of the world, (others around him) and himself.
Training requires confrontation and getting rid of physical and mental limitations and fears, while seeking others to confront.
Need to see Eastern and Western Religions together, accepting all there is, yet might only believe mostly in one and not the other.
Extremism in either form whether blindness to other culture's wisdom or blindness to our own culture's wisdom, is the effect of limited thinking. True power in life comes from exploring and accepting all realms in which we can cultivate something useful.
Intense living is the way of life. There is no "Dark Side" of power, just the way people use power in life.
Ignorance, is to know that they fear and have inexperience in something, and the struggle of the ignorance of others.
Best way to get enlightened would be to rid of all people or things that give you anger, hatred, jealousy, envy, and greed, If you can stay away from those people or things, you can change your perceptions of reality. But when confronted by these others, that it could be disastrous. (In other words you'd be the way you were or even worse, like maybe suicidal)
Subjectivity is better than Objectivity because Objectivity is dry. (It is hard to think Objective without having to think Subjective, in other words, you have to think of yourself to think of others. (I call that Subjective/Objectivity.))
"The man who feels himself the weaker of the two contenders is the one who will let go of all considerations for others and adopt the extreme of savagery as his only defense. Tools of power provide means. It is up to the bearer to provide the perspective to use them wisely."
(This could be if you had no experiences of the situation, that could cause something more than it should. If one gets abused or hurt by someone, many can keep the hurt inside, or take it on others, or murder the person who got one hurt.)
Before one can do harm, the ninja countermoves by seeing near the future and act on it. The ninja gains is entry into the spiritual realm when he can do this.
There is a series of realms that people can go into, these realms are the struggling factors of what are our enemies.
1. Hell Realm - Everything and everyone seem to be against you.
2. Hungry Spirit - The fear of helplessness and isolation.
3. Animal - Battle with nature and other animals
4. Human - constant attacks of other humans, loner,
5. Jealous Gods - Fear of what others do to ones own creations.
6. Heaven - What enemies?? Illusions of success and no failure.
These realms represent our enemies. These enemies will become the teachers of life in itself, and that is enlightenment.

We may soon find that the things that seems impossible to solve now, like crime, poverty, love and acceptance, peace, health care, justice, and fairness may be in the stage of being solved, but that it could take centuries to really get it going. In other words, that all the reforms today may not solve these crisises, but will evolve to another kind of reform that could eventually solve these kinds of problems. Like with health care, it will not solve the problem totally, but it will solve some, and I think that eventually we will learn more of what is needed and that will help us solve it.)

I think that we can come to see that we have different customs and different ways of doing things, and that we should realize and know that we should not argue with someone about something that both can be right. We need to realize different cultures and different attitudes in people. Staying in our culture is o.k. but let's go further...

When you try to find happiness

Although suicide is a hard subject for me, (because of the death of my best friend Martin Westcott) I am realizing that death is something that lasts longer than life. I think that people still think of the wrongness of death that they do not wonder why people killed themselves in the first place. (It is not to blame oneself, but to know why one does something, and that you tried your best for someone.) It is like why do we not ask why to a murderer who murdered someone? I wonder, if we can have better friendships and relationships if we could ask why they do this, or to give people chances to do well. There are many sore winners that make sore losers and vice versa. With all the pressures of life standing between each other, I think there has to be a way to get to a person and give them less pressure and to give them hope that people actually do care for one another, as if they care for themselves (Subjective/Objectivity!)
Music has always been important to me. Some have been just for fun, while others were inspiring. I was heavily inspired years ago by Young M.C, M.C. BUT IF I GIVE ADVICE WE START A CONFLICT,

WE ALL HAVE CONFLICTS IN MANY THINGS
BUT SOMETIMES WE ARE HARSH AND IT BRINGS
DEPRESSION AND MISUNDERSTANDING,
SOMETIMES WE NEED TO BE REALIZING
HOW THE OTHER PERSONS LIKES IS GOOD
FOR HIM, THEN CONSIDER IT AS IT STOOD.....
DO YOU LIKE SOMETHING THAT IS RARE,
THE MAJORITY ARE NOT GOING TO CARE.
DO YOU KNOW THAT ALL YOUR OPINIONS ARE FROM YOUR EXPERIENCES.
DO YOUR FRIENDS LIKE YOU FOR WHO YOU ARE,
OR DO THEY MAKE YOU WHO YOU ARE. (GOD LEADS ME - MAGIC)
FOR PEOPLE ALWAYS TRY TO IMPROVE ONESELF,
AND COMPETITION MAKES PEOPLE DO THEIR BEST.

From what you see and hear, society has a lot of fear.
Opinions are coming and going making sure you are right
all the time no matter what and everyone else's mouth is shut.
All about politics, religion, music, food, leisure, and fun,
it is what we fight about that makes us all shout.
Do this and do that, --- what to do with all of it.
It's a battle of opinions.

"Get Possessive"
Has anyone tried to tell you, something to change your mood.
Or says it like everyone does, which brings reality in a fuzz.
i've heard answers all the time, and its about to blow my mind.
It's about not possessing, Answers that are missing,
The point of the argument, this is not enough spent.
It's Your opinion so Get Possessive.
I'm talking about opinions, which can lost the translations
When not saying I think, or I see it as I see it.
Or Its my opinion that, and so on at that.
Because if you do not say it, the translation won't fit.
They may think it is Universal, or make you hurt or fall.
Don't do this and don't do that, only in interests where its at.
