Irene Turner is the director and producer of the new feature film ''The
Girls' Room,'' called a ''terrific discovery'' by the Los Angeles Times.
Starring Soleil Moon Frye (''Punky Brewster'') and Wil Wheaton (''Stand by Me''
and ''Star Trek: Next Generation'), the film deals with the struggles of women
learning how to make difficult choices as they come of age in a North Carolina
university. Previously, Irene produced ''Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss'' which
