Ada was served by several railroads in its history and there were three depots in town.
The first was the Missouri Kansas and Texas. This branch became the Oklahoma City Ada and Atoka. The OCAA was merged into the Muskogee Roads (The Midland Valley and Kansas Oklahoma and Gulf being the other two members of this railroad.) The Missouri Pacific eventually purchased the Muskogee roads and they were operated by the Texas and Pacific. The Santa Fe was the next owner of this road and held it until its eventual abandonment.
The St. Louis and San Francisco (Frisco) owned another line through town. This line ran from Tulsa to Denison Texas. The Frisco was the dominating rail carrier in town. The Frisco's passenger train The Black Gold stopped daily just a few blocks east of the Oklahoma Central Depot. The Burlington Northern took over Frisco operations in Ada following the Frisco buyout. Today the Santa Fe is back in town under the BNSF umbrella.
See the timetable for a description of the Santa Fe presence in town.

This depot still stands and has been restored to a certain extent. It is an antique store which is still onsite. This is more than likely the depot built by the Oklahoma Central although it is not an Oklahoma Central Standard. The Frisco depot still stands several blocks to the east of this structure.
