EASTERN DIVISION - LAWRENCE DISTRICT
This line was built as the Leavenworth, Lawrence, and Galveston. Later the line was sold to the Santa Fe. Eventually the interlocking at Ottawa Junction was removed and replaced by a set of switches physically separating the Baldwin line and the line to Tulsa. However at this date the crossing was still in place. The segment between Lawrence and Baldwin was abandoned in 1964. The remaining 10.7 miles of trackage was sold to an excursion operation called the Midland Railway in May of 1987.
Timetable from November 29, 1942

Located at Ottawa Junction this switch is now spiked. The line leaving from this junction runs to Baldwin City.
