EASTERN DIVISION - BURLINGTON DISTRICT

The Burlington district branched off of the Eastern District four miles south (timetable west) of Ottawa. This line extended through a prarrie region to Gridley. The Santa Fe rarely used old equipment for depots but it did in the town of Sharpe. A former baggage car was used as the town depot. It appears that it may have even been painted green and yellow. See the timetable for a place where you can locate a photo of this depot.
