North Timp Point

North Timp Point is located approximately 43 miles south and west of Jacob Lake on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. The point offers a panoramic view of the Grand Canyon and its tributary canyons. In the winter months, access to this outstanding scenic destination can be reached only by snowmobile.

Locals will tell you that the Kaibab Plateau is Arizona's best kept secret. It is never more so than during winter when its isolation and distance from major population centers is accentuated by a deep blanket of snow. If you have seen the South Rim, you owe it to yourself and family to experience the majesty of the Grand Canyon's greater scenery at the North Rim.
