## Ms. Kathleen Smith, designer of the Olemitcha
clan ceremonial flag has requested the following statement be added to
this site "The Olimetcha Miwok flag is described
inaccurately in the book. There is no actual Olimetcha Miwok flag,
and
the artist, Kathleen Smith, did not give permission for the use of
her
design, which represents a ceremonial flag of the Miwok people of
Bodega Bay."
