The SciAm Article

This is a copy of the November 1997 Scientific American. Turning to a couple of heavily dog-eared pages, you find a whole article with Dave's name as one of the authors! We're so proud. Only about 12:23 of fame left now!

The whole article process went quite well, even though SciAm's preferred word count went down radically while we were writing it (so they had to cut even more than we expected them to). The editors were quite good and literate (unlike at some publications we could name), and while the illos in the paper version weren't exactly the ones that we'd've chosen, overall we're pleased with the result. You can bet our families will be getting lots of souvenir copies! *8)
