The planets are in the correct alignment, and the relative humidity is equal to Pi squared on a Tuesday, so that means it's time to Purge the Links Page. I have just spent the last 3 hours clicking and waiting for pages to load (or not load), and I have over 30 megs of very large graphics files sitting in my browser cache, but it is done. The dead links are gone, and there's lots of new ones to take their place, especially on the Character Page. Someone wanna upload me some virtual aspirin?

What's Up With AX Anyways?

First off, thanks to everyone who took the time to write me about the web site. A lot of you have asked why there haven't been any updates or new issues of the Avalon Gazette recently. AX has gone through some changes - we've had people going off to college, people leaving for the summer comic conventions, people leaving AOL and the internet entirely, and even one AXer running off and getting married :-) It takes more than a few people to put out a newsletter like the Avalon Gazette every month, especially when you consider we do all this for fun, and we have come to the realization that we just can't keep putting it out on a monthly basis, and keep the quality up. So, starting with issue #9 (due out at the end of August - we hope) the Avalon Gazette is going quarterly, for a while at least. That doesn't mean that there won't be new features on the page more often than that - I have gotten my hands on a flatbed color scanner, so there should be lots of new pics, and we are planning to completely remake the entire site. Some new things in the works include an XTAS page, the Avalon Gazette in HTML format, a reviews archive, and more! Keep checking back, and keep up the comments and suggestions!
