Hello! This is my space and my name is Zoë. I am a dog. More specifically, I am a female Dalmatian, 6 years of age, who owns Linda and Maurice Oppé, two very nice humans. We live in Eastern Pennsylvania and I romp freely in our large yard. Although I try to share the house with two cats, Chelsea and Grisette, they don't much like my boundless energy when I play! But, girls just want to have fun!

Although I am a pet and loyally watch over our home, Mom decided that I was becoming a freeloader so she put me to work. After going to South Mountain Dog Training School for obedience training, I earned the TDI (Therapy Dog Inc.) and CGC (Canine Good Citizenship) certificates. We now visit nursing homes and hospitals where I bring my friendly disposition to people who need some happiness. I love all the attention and everyone seems to love my spots!

We also started Agility Training which is lots of fun for Mom and me. As you can see, I lead a very active life. In fact, I am somewhat of a star -- have appeared on local TV a few times regarding Dalmatian Rescue to discuss [Mom did the talking] the characteristics of our kind!

Other favorite past-times are playing frisbee (I'm an awesome jumper!), riding in the car, and going on long walks with my humans. My favorite treat is peanut butter (when frozen, it lasts longer) stuffed in the ends of a sterilized bone.
