Established in 1974 to bring together Dalmatian Fanciers located in Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, the purpose of the club is to further the Dalmatian as a breed and to serve as a center for ideas and information.
The DVDC's functions include: educating the public, Dalmatian Rescue, encouraging responsible breeders/exhibitors, and holding Dalmatian events of all types. DVDC holds regular meetings throughout the year to serve as both social gatherings and business transactions.

Effective February 2000, DVDC RESCUE is no longer active. Our Public Education & Outreach committee will gladly offer consultation and assistance related to health issues, behavioral problems, etc. DVDC also welcomes the opportunity to participate in educational seminars and/or conduct presentations on responsible dog ownership at area elementary and junior high schools.
