The St. George's Day service was held at St. Mary's Church in the centre of Cottingham, the hosts being 1st Cottingham (St. Mary's) Scout Group. Before the service Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Leaders paraded down Hallgate from the car park behind the Fair Maid.
Here we see some of the 3rd Cottingham Beavers, followed by Kotick Cubs' flag and some of the Cubs.

3rd Cottingham's Cubs and Scouts had been at Raywell Park for the weekend on a Dads and Lads Activity Camp (see report elsewhere). They returned direct from the camp for the parade and thus achieved one of the best attended parade for many years.
After the service, here is some of the 3rd Cottingham contingent returning along Hallgate.
