Home Ground

Kotick's home ground for the 1996/97 season was the Old Grammarians Football Ground on Park Lane in Cottingham. This was a move from the Hilltop Club, Castle Hill which is being redeveloped for housing.

This season was a successful one for Kotick. We only lost one league game and were thus champions in our league.

The winners and runners-up in each of the District's two leagues play-off to find the District champion. Unfortunately, we lost our play-off semi-final 5-4 after two periods of extra time. The score at full time was 3-3 (after being 3-0 to Kotick at half-time). Kotick went ahead again in the first period of extra-time only for Khaniwara to equalise and then score a winner in the second extra-time period.
