The "Cobb Web": Sheri Cobb South's Web Page

(Last updated September 7, 2000)

Stop the presses! The Weaver Takes a Wife will be published in large-print hardcover this December by Thorndike Press under their GK Hall imprint!

All in all, 2000 has been a good year for me: besides the aforementioned hardcover sale, Miss Darby's Duenna was a finalist in the Writer's Digest Best Self-Published Book Awards. Brighton Honeymoon, the sequel to The Weaver Takes a Wife, is now available, and has been garnering good reviews. For more information, including how to buy, check out the PrinnyWorld Press web site.

My biblical novel The Cobra and the Lily is available as an electronic book from MountainView Publishing Company or Rocket E-books. It received 4 stars from Romantic Times, and another 4 stars from Affaire de Coeur. You can read the first chapter--and see the lovely cover art--by clicking here. I just signed another contract with Mountain View for Restless Hearts, a contemporary Christian romance.

My Regency short stories Emily's Elopement, The Return of Captain Rawlings, and Masquerade are available here for you to read in their entirety. I hope you enjoy them! Before you read them, though, I've been cautioned by a lawyer friend to warn you that they are copyrighted 1997 by Sheri Cobb South, and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, etc. or anything else without permission. You may, however, provide a link to it from your own home page, if you wish. Now that I've said that, please feel free to click away!

I've also written in other genres. My five young adult novels were published by Bantam as part of its Sweet Dreams series. My short stories in a variety of genres have appeared in Woman's World, 'Teen, Romantic Hearts, and Cameo Romances. For a limited time, you can read my Campus Life story, Confessions of a Teenage Turkey, on-line.
