One of the most renowned choirs of the world, the Berlin Radio Choir made a significant impact on its first US tour in February 2001 which included a week of concerts with Kurt Masur and the New York Philharmonic singing Beethoven's Choral Fantasy and the US premiere of Henze's Symphony No. 9. Theycreturn to the the US in December 2001 for a single performances of Shoenberg's Moses und Aaron for Los Angeles Opera.
