To Whom It May Concern:

For the past several years I have been working as a computer consultant and on my own multimedia projects, including developing a Flamenco Web site with in-depth coverage of the various forms. For the three years prior to that I had been working as a systems analyst and developer within the C++ and Windows environment.  Previous to that I had worked in an intensive computer environment for 11 years,  having programmed in FORTRAN, and C in a variety of projects involving computational analysis and physics for the General Research and Santa Barbara Research corporations.   I am currently coming up to speed on Microsoft's implementation of C++ and its implementation of the equivalent of Borland's Resource Tables, Doc/View paradigm, Class Libraries, OLE (Borland's OCF) and other differences.
I have been intensively involved with the IBM PC since the beginning; I have had recent experience in developing a Court Reporting multimedia program integrating digital audio, video, and database using Borland C++ (OWL; the Object Windows Library), Borland's Class Libraries, ObjectVision, Paradox (and dBase) under the Windows operating system. (I am thoroughly familiar with programming under DOS, of course). The program uses Borland's Database framework for the interface between the C++ application and the Paradox 4.0 database, which allows us to use ObjectVision and Crystal reports as front- and back ends. This allowed us to use objects such as photographic images and sound effects as BLOB's within the database. The program exists both as a DLL and as a standalone application.  Of course, I am familiar with Borland's Turbo Debugger for Windows.
In addition, I am familiar with such Multimedia applications as Adobe Premiere and Acrobat, CoolEdit96, and other related applications. I have a fully configured 450 Mhz Pentium III with digital audio and video production capability.  I am using MiroDC30, FastTrak Raid, Awe64.
I am also a leading authority in North America on the art of Flamenco Guitar. My multimedia Flamenco guitar course (audio, video, and books) has received international recognition.  I have recently published my course material on CD's

In summary, I have extensive experience with computers and their languages in general, and am sure I could be productive in your environment in short order.  I look forward to discussing any way in which my ability, skills, and personal commitment could be of use in your projects. Personal and professional references are available on request.

Thank you for your consideration,

Sincerely,

Charles H. Keyser, Jr.
