. . . The engine this Model 'B' main bearing cap came from had been flying a Pietenpol Air Camper for about 70 hours or so. Its crank was a so-called 'Model 'C.' Your editor believes that finding competent babbitt and align-boring work may be the most daunting task of the Pietnpol engine rebuilder. (photo by gem)
