This is one of the more proper castles. It's called Chillon Castle and it's located just outside of Montreux, Switzerland. The orginal structure's date is unknown, but it underwent a remodel from the 11th century to the 13th century! A 200 year construction job! We did get to tour this castle and it was very impressive. It was like the old castles you see in the movies. Big rooms, lots of narrow passageways and fireplaces you could stand in. This picture was taken from Steve and Gayle's hotel room. Nice views!
